Gore Verbinski is my choice he was great for the first 2 Pirates movies great blend of action and comedy great SFX I think he could bring the best out of the whole cast and crew

McG option has wrong Terminator film lol, but as director i wouldnt mind, goyer, pirates director, cameron as some guys i would like to see.

Terminator Salvation hasnt come out yet...even though it is my most anticipated movie of this year I will not recognize it as a good film until it comes out

I think my dream choice for Flash director is Robert Zemeckis.

Yea he would be fun director but he is into the whole motion capture films right now.

I would say either Michael Bay or Rob Cohen would be my top choices for The Flash director.

Im srry but I think Michael Bay would be bad...i mean hes made some entertaining/good movies like Transformers, Bad Boys I&II but his directing style would be awful with the Flash

it should be someone who has a good mix of drama/action/comedy.

Yes, thank you!
I've been a vocal supporter of a Zemeckis/Spielberg Flash movie for a long time now. Tom Hanks would make an EXCELLENT Jay Garrick as well.

Robert Zemeckis all the way. I just recently watched all of the BTTF movies (hated the third), and thought how perfect he'd be for a Flash movie.

yea i said before he would be a great choice but like others have stated right now he is into the whole motion cap films.

ron howard might be a different choice to throw in there. great director. he's about due for a superhero film.

Renny Harlin? Directed speed. only good Keanu movie after Bill and Ted.

u don't think the first matrix movie was his best film? it would be funny to see the director of "speed" direct a movie about a speedy hero. i want to say it's irony, but that's not right.

btw, it's strange to put down District B13 and Taken for Luc besson in the poll when he just produced/co-wrote them

Maybe Leon (The Professional) and Fifth Element was be better choices.

howard would be cool to see, very good director. But didnt he say awhile ago he isnt interested in superhero/comic book films?

yeah i think so. i heard he was first approached for spider-man and he didn't think it would be a good idea. still he's a pretty good director, and they always change their minds about things.

Wow. are you serious? Renny Harlin? he's was average back then and he's awful now.

btw, Jan de Bont directed Speed, not Renny.

Was it? I guess it wasn't as memorable as I thought. Matrix 1 had decent special effects and Keanu was good when he had better actors to act off of. i.e. Devil's Advocate. Acting next to Pacino makes anyone look like an oscar contender. I was mostly just tossing director's names out. My personal choice is Zemeckis. I think he'd be awesome to direct it.

No he meant you have the wrong movie on the list. He didnt direct T3. Johnathan Mostow did

I think Bay will be preoccupied with Transformers 3, and by the time he's done with that I think he'll pretty much be ready for a break from the whole comic book hero genre.

I think Joss Whedon would be good, but I worry that Warner Bros. and DC may have alienated him through their mismanagement of his Wonder Woman project that ended in it being canned. It's a shame, because I was expecting great things from it.

Out of left field, but...David Gordon Green. Watch Pineapple Express, Undertow, and All the Real Girls. I honestly think he could bring the humor, action and drama to the flick.

Brad Bird.

The scene in the Incredibles where Dash lets loose was freakin sick.
