"Manning," I say bursting into the director of the BPRD's office, "we need to talk. The demon bit-"

"Not now Red I've got another mission for you," he says. "You're headed to Illinois."

"Gah! The Midwest? Come on Manning what's happening out there?" I protest. "And I just put down Marylin Manson's wet dream, do I really have to go out right now?"

"Yes, you do, Hellboy," another voice answers from a chair in the corner. "Evil's son itself has awakened from hibernation, and I need your help to stop it."

"Michael Myers has struck again."

As I sit in the car traveling down the highway towards Haddonfield, I look over Myers's file. I remember the first time he struck the town twenty-five years ago. He went after his sister, Laurie Strode, and would have killed her if it wasn't for Loomis. The man is off his rocker, but he knows how to deal with Myers, and I'll need his help if I want to get rid of this monster.

"So, what's the deal with Myers? It says here you think he's possessed?" I ask Loomis, the first bit of conversation since our travels started.

"I know so. He is the embodiement of pure evil, Hellboy. And he'll never die, form what I can tell," he replies, not taking his eyes from the window.

"You ever have one of our psychics look at him?"

"Yes," the doctor replies. "And he killed her."

"Terrific," I scoff. "So what exactly happened?"

"I don't know," Loomis shrugs. "He had been in an extended-coma like state for ten years before four days ago. Then, like he was struck by lightening, he sprung up, killed an orderly and two guards, and escaped from the high security facility we kept him in."

"And you think he'll come back to Haddonfield?"

"I know he will, Hellboy. I just pray we get there before he does."

I place April on Flynn's couch, rousing him from his sleep on the recliner next to her. I look at him and shake my head, "You should probably lock your windows if you don't want this to be a constant occurrence."

"What the hell is this, man!" he pleads.

"She's a friend who said too much about Shredder and the Foot on TV. I just saved her from inside her burning apartment. They knocked her out and left her to die," I respond, covering her with a blanket.

"You can see they aren't messing around, Flynn. Now are you going to help me or not? Or are you gonna wait till they burn down your house?"

He stands and goes towards the windows in the small apartment. He ponders my words before muttering, "Fine. I'll do it. But any sign of them finding me, it's the last time, Leo. I can't risk mys son's safety."

"I understand, buddy," I respond with a thankful smile. "I'll be back tomorrow night. Be ready."

Sam has his foot on the floor, and the Impala's engine is roaring. I'm in the passenger seat, loading up our guns. I've gotta say, it feels weird. This is completely backwards.

But I wasn't about to leave my baby's door behind.

"Do you see him?" Sam shouts over the wind.

I look back. "No lights. No sirens. If he's on our tail, he's not close yet."

"Or he's got some power and is already ahead of us."

"Way to think positive. If you had just shot him..."

"And what if I missed and shot you with the Colt."

"...yeah...ok. Fine. But I wish you hadn't used your creepy pycho powers."

"Psychic. And I wish I hadn't either."

"Oh yeah?"

"I'm...getting better with them. Every time I use them. And, I like the way it feels when I use them."

"That doesn't sound good."

"No, not really." We drive on in silence for a while, Sammy keeping his eyes ahead, me keeping mine behind. "Where are we going?"

"When you can, head towards Bobby's."

"Really? Is that a good idea?"

"Got any others?"

"...No, not really. But I think this is the same guy that messed Bobby up. Super powerful, not a demon, looking for the Colt."

"Yeah, I know."

"Which means he knows where Bobby is. If he figures out we're meeting him there..."

"That's what I'm counting on." I pull out my cell and start dialing.

"Who are you calling?"

"Bobby. Gonna tell him to meet us somewhere. Hopefully the new big bad will head up to his place while we're gone. Buy us some time."

"Ok...then where are we going?"

"New York."

"Seriously?"

"I'm gonna call in some help on this one."
