"Rise of Legends" Heroes RPG Vol.1 OOC Thread

Welcome to Vol.1 of the Heroes RPG!!

:RULES:

-Players can choose any character from the Heroes tv show. Players who have proved themselves as good RPer's will also have the option to create a character, and/or take up a second character. No God-Like characters.

-Everyone exists in the same timeline. No alternate realities.

-No Killing. Unnamed faceless NPC's may be killed, but not established characters. Someone else may want to take up the character, or they may be important to another story.

-You can go anywhere on Earth but do so within your characters means.

-You are your character, so act like it. Talk like them, use there dialouge. Do not exaggerate your powers, or pop-up here and there without explination.

-Several stories can be going at once, and you have the freedom to interact with other characters.

-Time travel will need AGM approval.

-You must post at least once every two weeks, though it is preferred that you post more. If you go two weeks without a post without prior notice, your character is up for grabs.

-You must have at least 50 posts on the Hype boards to be eligible to play. If your below 50 posts you can submit a sample post for AGM approval. If approved you many be admitted into the game.

-Custom characters will only be able to have one ability. No multiple powers, no power mimicing or absorption.

-And of course, all regular rules of the Hype apply.

Character you would like to play: Peter Petrelli

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: A former hospice nurse who believed that he had abilities. Peter believed that he could fly...but he was capable of so much more. Peter was an empath, meaning that he could absorb the abilities of anyone he met. Unfortunately, Ted Sprague's radioactivity proved too much to handle.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. He and Hiro have pure hearts.

2. I can absorb all your powers!

3. Someone has to stop Sylar.

What can you bring to this game? Empathy.

Character you would like to play: Gabriel Grey (aka. Sylar)

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Sylar's original power is intuitive aptitude — a superhuman ability to determine exactly how things work.

Sylar appears to have used his innate power to discover how to take the superpowers of other evolved humans. The exact mechanism by which Sylar gains these powers is not at present known; however, he believes that Chandra Suresh is correct that the abilities are based in the brain, and several of Sylar's victims have had their skulls opened and brains removed.

Known Acquired Powers:

Telekinesis from Brian Davis.
Cryokinesis from an unknown victim.
Enhanced memory from Charlie Andrews.
Liquefaction from Zane Taylor.
Enhanced hearing from Dale Smither.
Precognition from Isaac Mendez.
Induced radioactivity from Ted Sprague.

1. Hes' my favorite character in the series.

2. I love being evil. 'evil grin'

3. Somebody need to knock Peter down a couple pegs.

What can you bring to this game? An interesting character that'll be loyal to the series and enjoyable to read. Oh and weed..........lots of weed.
