The golden army how they should look and be portrayed

Since they are the (besides HB) title characters I suppose that they will be unleashed by the third act or near end of the movie, and will wreak havoc for sometime( I hope) and since the SR said that they were described as "robots built by goblins" how should they look in the movie. as they form a very important part of the story?
Should they be golden armored with a medieval type armor and face plates? or more mechanical looking? I guess they have a mechanism within them but that their real lifeforce is somesort of magic energy since they were built by goblins. what do you think, how should they look and move?

I think they will be very clockwork like, a little like kronin but more expensive and expertly made

I suspect TyRuben Ellingson will be designing these guys. He's the tech designer after all.

I don't think it's a good idea to tailor them after Kroenen. They should feel naturally like they were built by well, Goblins.

The army was supposedly built by goblins, who are usually depicted more like apes or chimps with lizard scales, and has been inactive for however long. I'd expect half of them to be dented beyond recognition and covered with moss, cobwebs, etc. There's no guarantee that they're not made out of wood and stone, except for golden accents at joints and vulnerable spots.

As cool as Hellboy and Abe fighting robots would be, I'd bet the Army will be more organic than anyone thinks.
