The greatest muppet movie of all time!!!

Just dawned on me I failed to rate this film after I saw it last week. 9/10 easily. Had a big stupid grin on my face the entire time and when I left the cinema.

The Muppets strike back at Fox News:

Brilliant. :lmao:

Hey, Kermit learned a long time ago not to mess with Miss Piggy:

"It's almost as laughable as accusing Fox News of being....well...news."

:lmao: CLASSIC.

That was a surprisingly realistic couples fight, actually. Well, the stuff before the hitting.

Kermit and Miss Piggy fights were the best:

That went on for the whole show....

But this one is still my favorite:

Miss Piggy also has a surefire cure for amnesia too:

I finally saw the film today and...there are no words I can use that can do justice to how amazing this film was.

I. LOVED. IT.

I had a grin on my face the entire time. Every Muppet was included pretty much. I've been a Muppet fan my whole life and this brought back so many happy memories. Seeing them recreate the opening titles from The Muppet Show was amazing and this version of "Rainbow Connection" was phenomenal. I'm not ashamed to say this...I was tearing up during this just through how brilliant it was. My favourite film this year and maybe even of the last year as well.

10/10 and a Bravo!

From The Muppets' Facebook page:

And now, a message from Walter: "Congratulations to our Oscar-winning songwriter Bret MacKenzie! I’m so happy he won the Oscar…and so sorry he was forced to turn it over to Miss Piggy backstage."

Awwwww. :yay:

they usually do. but my guess with all the other stuff they had going on like the billy crystal and the circu thing they cut down the show on some areas.

Since Best Original Song was the only award I was actually excited about this year, I am beyond happy that "Man or Muppet" took the Oscar. I'm so happy we live in a world where we can now say, "Oscar-winning songwriter Bret McKenzie." He completely deserved it.

I agree on all counts! I am so unbelievably happy!

I saw it yesterday for the first time. I'm a huge fan of the Muppets, but I found the movie very underwhelming. Just never felt like a Muppets movie. Henson's genius is sorely lacking, and the whole thing just seemed like a better than average musical with the Muppets making a cameo. It lacked the satire, the bite, and the humor of the originals. There is almost indie feel to the Henson era films that gave them a very unique style. This movie just lacked so much of the heart and personality of Henson that made the Muppets so special in the first place.

i'm really happy "man or muppet" won :D
though i do have more of a soft spot for "pictures in my head"

I probably would've liked this movie more if I had seen it before hearing all the hype surrounding it.

Didn't get around to seeing this in theaters but will try to rent it at least. Always loved The Muppets.
