Sad to hear, honestly. But word is the movie is terrible.

Not surprised because I thought that everything about this movie sounded terrible. I have always thought that it was going to be another Spirit.

Maybe it will come out and be hugely successful and I'll have to eat my words...but I doubt it.

Thing is, I just don't know how you make a big budget live action version of Green Hornet and make it relevant.

I mean, I can't really blame Seth Rogen. This kind of material, it's like I don't know what you do with it. I sort of interested when Stephen Chow was involved because you know Kung Fu Hustle was just something so unique and different in live action if they could make something with that kind of energy it MIGHT work. Chow ultimately dropped out which is not surprising so much.

I figured with Rogen they would basically make something like the CHARLIE'S ANGELS or the STARSKY AND HUTCH movies.

But I mean, is Rogen's clearly lost weight recently but did he actually get FIT for this role? Like I mean Downey Jr. clearly got fit for Tony Stark and Jim Rome when he's probably normally nowhere near that fight and in the late 90's early 00's he was downright out of shape.

people like you are idiots! i'm sure you could make a film about a guy who builds an iron suit to fight crime relevant!

okay so Rogen is wrong for the part, but that doesn't mean that the Green Hornet is irrelevant. He's more relevant than 90% of the Marvel characters because he is realistic.

That's actually the best article I've read about this troubled movie. I pretty much wrote it off yesterday, now I am kind of back on the bandwagon.

It is surprising that Sony hasn't released a teaser trailer yet. Judging by the usual timing for teaser & full trailer releases, studios generally have their first teaser out around 7-8 months before release.

Sony waiting to release one in May would have been a little later than usual, but it would have made sense considering May is sort of the start of the Summer movie season.

They stole a ****ing gag from Johnny English. The trailer uses repeated shots. Yeah this is not looking good.

I don't dislike Seth Rogen at all, he just looks absolutely ridiculous here.

My impression is like he's in something that should be anything other than Green Hornet, like Blankman or a movie like that or some other superhero parody. He doesn't look like he's acting in what should be this movie.

It was sort of like how Ryan Reynolds gags and **** were painfully out of place in Blade 3 and sort of ruined the flow and tone the earlier movies created.
