A summary description just leaked. All i can stay is OMG. Like holy ****. I need this movie now!
 
I just read the plot description and some of it seems a little fan made to be honest. Like it sounds EPIC but seems hard to pull off.

It's explained very poorly, unfortunately. The man has a weird sense of 'timing' of how the movie plays, he says some people don't show up until the second act which isn't the case. There's so much subtlety and nuance in the smaller, character scenes that I really wish were mentioned, and he got a couple of things wrong about two major set pieces.

I don't really know what to say since it's pretty much all out there. They sounded very confident in the film, before, and after the test screening and nobody mentioned anything that needed to be changed in terms of reshoots, just one sequence that could be edited a bit better in post to make the impact better. But yeah, they should be really proud of themselves. I'm just, ugh, feel for the team. Only 50 people got into this screening, so many people got turned way that would have killed to be in there and wouldn't have said a word in terms of spoilers. It'd be one thing if this entry wasn't so great, truly, if it didn't resonate with me on such a level. I totally understand spoiler commentary - trust me, it's just a bit shocking that the film is all in bullet form 10 months out - and that's how finished this film is already. 85% of the VFX are done, it looks like a completely finished film. I guess I can go into my legitimate spoiler free discussion on it soon. Ah well, if it sounds amazing to you, I promise you, it's 100000x better in the film. :)

Man im so jealous you got to see it. I want to ask you stuff but I know you can't say anything. All i know is this sounds like the best Halloween sequel ever. Halloween 2018 is my favorite sequel and this seems like it's gonna blow that out of the water.

Temp score was used. About 5-6 tracks from H'18 used a couple of times throughout, and some from the original film. There were some two new tracks towards the end (not sure if it's still temp, like from his Anthology or something) that sounded like they were 'rough' versions of the new score.

But if this film is as great (and trust me, please, it's great unbiasedly, I've thought about it for quite some time since seeing it) as it is now without the new score, I can only imagine how much it'll amplify the film.

How long was the movie ? an indication or a new about the budget ? (because the 2018's cost 10 million dollars). Thanks again dude ;)

Around the same time as H'18, maybe a bit longer, but it doesn't feel like it. It's paced very differently, so everything flows much better. Didn't think it needed to be any longer or shorter than it was, it was pretty good on that regard.

H'18's budget was $15 + a couple of more for reshoots, and with the massive scale fo this film, I wouldn't be shocked if this is around $25M - even if they say it's not. It shows on camera. If it's truly $15-20M, I will be shocked - the team spent the money incredibly well in that regard.
 
Definitely staying away from spoilers and it's sad that the entire plot has apparently been leaked this early on, but i'm just glad to hear that people are saying the film is awesome.
 
Can anyone direct me to a spoiler free review and/or spoiler free summary?

Whether you believe him or not, he's only saying what the others from the screening have been saying. Not heard a single dissenting opinion so far.
 
Don't know about any script but great about the test screenings

LOL!

I was Amorphous on OHMB so yeah, it's me! I recognize all of H'18's issues though, they just didn't bother me as much as it bothered others (except for the pacing, reallly drags down the film).

But I did say that opinions are subjective! I can only speak for myself, what I heard during the screening, and my discussions with people after for the last couple of days.

WHERE. IS. JAQUEN?! I MISS HIM!

Has anyone heard from The Dark Shape? I feel like if anyone could get in the screening it would be him and I would be curious to know his opinion.
