My God. Track nr.17, titled "We're Best Friends" (from what little is heard of it in the sample) gives me a lump in the throat and goosebumps all_over! Try hearing that one with some big earmuffs, turn it up and close your eyes :-(

I think it's a pretty save bet that this one will be utilized in a very emotional sequence, either between Peter & Harry, OR between Peter & Gwen - His girlfriend. His companion. And also his very best friend. Maybe it's meant between him and Gwen when she dies? Or, MAYBE there's stuff we won't see coming between Peter & Harry when/if he dies??? All I know is, if this music is utilized within the film & if the build-up and scene is staged with care, then this will most likely be a tear-dropping moment for me.

One would think so because of the title, yes. But maybe it's meant for Gwen. I mean, a track title named "Gwen dies" would be pushing itt:

Somehow I can't see Peter mourning over Harry's death with that track playing in the background, right after he's killed Gwen? Then again, it could be incorporated between Pete & Harry in a whole other sequence, of course? I'm just having a hard time figuring out exactly how it'll come in to play then... but that's kinda nice, actually

MOS failed me in its messy and not involving storytelling. It wanted to have so much heart, but it still failed. All the ingredients was there, but... but. ****, I don't know how it all ended so bad. But a key-player in its downfall was Zack Snyder, whom I was skeptical about right from the start. He's a crappy storyteller. I never really liked his style (yet I appreciate WatchMen though). And yes, I was extremely pumped for MOS. And in short, it did fail me for the most part. It failed millions. It got pretty lousy reviews overall...

With TASM2 I'm largely more at ease with everything. Solely because I like the director. I like his feel/take for Spider-man. I KNOW he cares for story and characters. I love the cast, and the story here truly seems to step it up. Actually, it seems to be stepping it up in every department. I pray this movie is all of which I had hoped MOS was! (I'll find out in 12 days)
