I think it'd be interesting if there were 3 different high profile scorers for the 3 films.

Or maybe I still want to hear what a Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross Spider-Man score would sound like...

Kinda lame Zimmer's doing MOS2 or Batman Reboot feat. Superman.


Really wanted someone else to be able to tackle Batman. Don't get me wrong- I love his TDKT scores! But I was hoping for a different composer, like Chris Drake.

Yeah, I thought I read an article where he said he definitely wouldn't score another Batman movie that wasn't in TDK realm

edit: I'm not really finding anything where he said that so maybe I was wrong

Agreed. Hans is a prolific film scorer. If asked back, I'm confident he'll do Spidey 3 as well.

He better bring the M6 with him if he does return.

It's crazy how he's able to do all these films and still sort of remain an identity for each score, as well as make each one a good one.

You would think after a while if the master scorer keeps socring every big film, it would wear out.

I keep thinking this too. It really is incredible... How much creativity it must take. It seems like it would wring a person dry how much effort and thought and continual creativity must be going into all these

Exactly. End up dry because I'm sure he has to some how force it out due to a deadline. Idk how he works but I'm assuming there's gonna be smoe foce involved.

Zimmer rarely if ever works alone. So it is not a situation really where he has to do this on his own.

His work with the WB superhero films have been slightly different, though that probably has to do with his relationship with Nolan. But no, he has ghost writers.

Yep, there were some 5-6 writers of TDKT scores, and I think 3 or 4 for MOS.

Also, Pharrell also helped on MOS, so he'll probably be on MOS.

The FLAC version of the Deluxe album is floating around out there. I downloaded it and it sounds amazing. I was able to hear a few extra things in the songs that I didn't hear in the 160kbps songs leaked last week.

Listening to the TASM2 soundtrack right now.

Not gonna lie, I'm impressed so far. MUCH better than the soundtrack for the last film so far. Right now "My Enemy" is the standout track at the moment, but I can see it going wrong with how it's used and where it's placed in the film (because it's actually lyric-heavy). Otherwise, it's a very atmospheric and cool song that I'd picture Electro having!
