Goal accomplished! Completed the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon on Sunday in 4hrs. 38 min. 13 sec.!
great job. congratulations!
i been slacking like crazy the past two months, so i think it's time to start getting back in to some good habits again. i have been staying at a steady weight though instead of gaining it back which is good though.
Also, MUCH less soda.
and 92 Days without a cigarette.
Goal Completed!
I'm setting a new goal of losing 9 more pounds![]()
I can do all of that except the bike thing. I don't own one.
im down, i dont have a bike, but i need to start running/jogging again. and i think im gonna add another stipulation for myself: no eating after 9pm. reeeeeally bad habit.giving myself a push for the entire month of June
* no sodas at all (i rarely drink them, but only sprite or sierra mist) none at all
* 25-50 situps a day
* no french fries
* no ice cream
* ride bike at least once a week
anyone up for it with me?

That may help curb the cravings/control your food intake as well.
I gotta get back to my gymathon goal...and add to that the goal of cutting out sweets. I don't even normally like sweets--it's just that they're readily available at work and everyone pushes it on my desk because I "have a better metabolism" than my much older colleagues. Diet is the hardest thing to manage I find. I can bust my ass at the gym on a regular schedule, but I can't for the love of god deny myself a bag o' chips.
Well, I'm not going to do that plan (definitely can't do the soda thing), but training for the Chicago Marathon begins either next week or the week after, so gotta get back to a better running schedule than I've had for the past month. This training cycle though, I want to work on my core muscles and actually do cross training (biking, swimming or something like that). So I guess that's my revised goal.
Completed Day 2
still didn't get to do the bike, but i did a lot of stocking and hauling at work so i know that helped out a lot.
i dread doing the crunches but once i start i'm ok
a friend of mine told me last night she read that to find out how much water you should intake a day, you take your weight and divide by 2. thats how many ounces you need. anyone know of any truth to that?
Not sure--what happened to the 8 or something glasses a day? Is that a myth?
P.s. someone left donuts at the back office...please help!
