It's not like an R-rating means this movie will be an awesome movie and make it a faithful and well executed movie based on the games.

R-rated content would help though. Without the violence there's not even a glimmer of hope that it'll be well executed faithfully.

Okay yesterday I preordered Kane and Lynch from the Gamecrazy I work next to and they told me that when you do you get a free ticket to this movie. I was wondering if any here has ever gotten a free ticket like this before and if so was it for a specific time and date or can you just use it anytime?

What I understood from the IGN article (check previous page) is that the theatrical cut will be watered down R while the Gens cut would have been hard R/NC-17.

There's simply no defending this at all. Look, I want this film to be good, believe me when I heard they were actually making a Hitman film I wanted it ot be great.

Since I am a huge Hitman fan and love the games, I was hoping it would be either decent, good, or reat. I'm still against the casting of Olyphant. Still feel he's wrong for the role and believe it should've went to David Bateson, who in my opinion, is Agent 47 since he does the voice and his face is used as a model for the character.

But now that I heard Fox is cutting it down for a watered down R film? It's confirmed my beliefs that this film will suck hard. But I wasn't surprised at all by this news. This is the same company that ruined X3, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, and Aliens vs. Predator.

However, I would not be surprised if they didn't start editing down AVP2 for a PG-13 rating.
