I work at a theater and I managed to catch some of the film. From what I've seen it appears to be decent. I'll have to actually sit down and watch the whole thing in order to give a review.

Yea Sunrise, i think you really need to sit down and check it out. Olyphant really does a good job portraying 47. The movie as a whole was better than i expected.

You see two kids playing one of the Hitman games. Also, my friend was mentioning something about "clones." I'm not the biggest fan of the games, so I didn't know what he was talking about.

Sounds cool

Going in with low expectations will only make the end result better. Trust me.

Caught this last night and surprisingly....not that bad. Solid adaptation for a video game movie, may be the best one yet although that isn't saying much.

I really enjoyed Olyphant. His performance surprised me the most, truly 47 worthy.

The director Xavier Gens must have really been a fan of the games because some scenes are just so beautifully shot. They felt natural for a Hitman game, and fans will pick up on these little touches.

They had some crazy awesome kills in the movie that really felt like they were lifted from the game. The bathroom kill had to be my favorite.

Also the chick wasn't so annoying like the trailers made her appear.

I'll admit though, I'm a huge Hitman fan, so my judgment may be clouded. It is not the best film of the year, it's just fun entertainment and that's all that really matters.

7.5/10

Sit down and watch it, really recommend it.

the way they showed Olyphant moving, was like playing a video game

Wait, the song on Hitman: Blood Money and the trailers was the song in the opening titles?

I thought it was a similar song, but not the exact song.

This movie was god awful.

The plot was confusing, mostly because it just wasn't interesting enough to even spend the intellectual power to follow along. Every single character was completely one dimensional. I did not give two ****s about Agent 47 or his ****ed up friend. The part in the car where the girl said she wanted to own a vineyard made me laugh out loud. Didn't we already see this rogue assassin/sexy euro chick dynamic play out in the Borne Identity? (and successfully, I might add)

Moving on to the technical aspects of the movie. The design was just cliche as cliche can be. I understand that its based off of a video game, but this is a movie. The photography was looked amature and the editing was choppy. The action scenes were laughable, especially the shoot out at the party. What stood out as being especially terrible was the sound design. The ADR in this movie was HORRIBLE. I have never seen so many poor dubbed clips in my entire film going life. The people who mixed this thing should be embarrased. The sound effects were equally bad. I found myself having to cover my ears because the sound effects were so loud and ear piercing. The gun fire and explosions felt like they were rushed and added at the last minute.

I've never played Hitman, but I hope to god the game is not as bad as its movie counterpart.
