Circle is a lot better than I anticipated, delving into a lot of social commentary with a sci-fi twist.

Yeah I loved Circle, it was pretty high on my top films list of 2015.

Gonna check out this new horror on Netflix called Hush. Getting some good buzz from horror fans about it.

It is really entertaining but I wouldn't call it a horror movie.

Just watched Trick 'r Treat finally. Really enjoyed it. It'll be going on my annual Halloween watch list from now on.

Just watched a fairly low budget horror film called Midnight Movie. It's kinda like the movie The Final Girls, only less comedy-centric. Basically, a group of people attend a midnight screening of an early 70's slasher film. The masked killer from the movie steps into the real world and starts hunting them down one by one. All in all, not a bad little direct to DVD movie. Certainly better than some similar movies I've seen (Knight Chills and The Silo Killer in particular come to mind).

I saw this a few years ago, own it on DVD in fact. It's really not bad, and it impressed me. Totally forgot about it when I was watch The Final Girls, but it's a concept that when done well, does work.

I just bought it on DVD a few weeks ago and decided to watch it today. I usually don't buy DVD's of movies I've never seen, just in case I don't like them, but in this case I was pleasantly surprised. I only really broke my rule about buying DVD's because I work at a thrift store and I get the movies for 50% off the already fairly low price, but I'm glad that I did.

Everyone should seek out the The Invitation. It should be available now through various on demand services. At some point its coming to Netflix. It is playing in a number of theaters right now.

I caught it at the St. Louis Film Festival last year and just caught it again along with a Q&A with the director.

I recommend going in as cold as possible but it is and extremely taught thriller. Fantastically well done.

Bought this last year for a buck. It was a lot of fun. Looking forward to watching it again for 31 Nights of Halloween.

They need to re-release the director's cut. Don't feel like paying scalper prices for that.

Finally watched The Final Girl today. I watched most of it a few months ago, but then had some trouble with my internet and couldn't see the end. So I rewatched what I had seen before and finally got to see the ending. It was a fun movie. Not very scary, but then it wasn't meant to be. A cool blend of Friday The 13th and Last Action Hero. I enjoyed it, and will probably pick it up on DVD once I see it.

Hush was pretty good, it's got a nice concept and a decent execution.

I liked it. Flanagan is a really interesting director/writer/editor. Can't wait for his next movie.

Watched You're Next this weekend, it had been on my radar since it came out but never got to it until now. I liked it. For once the main character wasn't useless, and it was nice to see someone take control against the enemies.

you're next is great, because the first part with the family feels like a genuine family diner. And the, like you said, the protagonist is not a tool for once.

Do you mean The Final Girls? Cause there's 2 films one is Final Girl the other is The Final Girls. Pretty sure you're referring to the sort of spoof one the Final Girls.

I don't know if I would categorize this as a GOOD horror film, but Wrong Turn 2 is kinda like that. The mutant hillbillies hunt a bunch of people taking part in a "Survivor" type reality show, and the show's host is a former Marine drill sergeant.
