Well it all depends. But you sound like a categorical hard gainer. So no. Your body grows with rest not with lifting. Usually a trainer will tell you a week is needed to fully recovery a single fully fatigued muscle, two days to recovery from a full training sessions. Generally the rule of thumb is that if a trainer is requiring you to lift more than two days in a row without rest, then drop that trainer. However really it breaks down to having sufficient rest for the amount your doing. So if you go four days in a row (Football players at school/college tend to lift four days during a five day week) take the weekend off.Alpha and Omega said:Really? I thought that if I lifted daily, but increased the time inbetween lifts w/ lower reps, I would still gain. Is this inaccurate?
I just find it funny that people say everyone is getting fatter when most of the people in this thread sound fit. I wasn't trying to offend anyone(you didn't seem offended, so I guess it's ok)Warhammer said:In my case, 175 might sound heavy, but for a 6' person, it's not that big.
I'm eating/working out to try and get to 200-210 lbs.

jaguarr said:There are quite a few of us here that are into bodybuilding, which means adding muscle which weighs more than fat. Drop fat, add muscle, you'll weigh more overall (unless you're one of those 1,000 lb. fatties or something that they have to airlift to the hospital).
