The Huntsman: Winter's War

I do. It's there's fault for signing onto it, and they should be PUNISHED.

LOL, for some reason you're making me wish there was some character out there whose job it was to PUNISH actors for making bad movies.

They're called nerds.

That needs to be a Funny or Die sketch. Frank Castle gets too old to take on criminals, so he decides to go around taking out actors who agree to star in awful movies.

Well I DID feel that way, but now I can't with all this talent involved. I couldn't wish a bomb on any of these awesome actresses. So I hope it shocks us all and turns out decent.
Hemsworth is the star though. They took one of the few female led (minor) hits and turned it into yet another white male led franchise. It's disgusting and frustrating and I can't support the film because of that.

If they didn't want Stewart involved they simply should have just recast the ****ing Snow White role but no we don't have enough franchises starring hot white guys named Chris. I don't blame Hemsworth, I blame Hollywood's horrible sexism.

Ugh, true. I hadn't even thought of it that way.

Since Blunt and Chastain are obviously after money can Marvel or WB please throw them a bone already? The two ladies are beautiful and talented, they deserve to be leading their own franchises.

Even if it's just a paycheck film, it's still weird that Chastain signed up to this especially since she's just playing the love interest. At least with Theron, her character is alrady established in the first film and with Blunt, she's actually playing the villain. At least with the Mission Impossible offer that she refused, she'll be playing the main female lead and it's an established popular franchise with a huge star like Tom Cruise.

I hope we at least get a video of these three ladies (Hemsworth can join too if he wants :o) hanging out and doing karaoke or something during the shoot. That'll probably end up being better than the film. :funny:

Chastain for Mera

Blunt for Selina Kyle

This! Marvel has the perfect roles for them coming up, too (Cap Marvel and Medusa, imo). They just need to pull the trigger, dammit.

Haha, that would be great. They all seem like the types...well we already know Emily is. ;)

Oooh, I forgot about Mera! Chastain would be great for that, too.

Yeah. I really, REALLY wanted Blunt to play Wonder Woman. I'm pulling for Gal, don't get me wrong. But Emily would have been my pick.

She was my top pick for that as well. Oh well. I have no real opinion of Gal yet so I'm just hoping for the best.

Yeah, same here.

I really do hope DC goes after Chastain for Mera or another role. But if her being in this crapfest keeps her from starring in a DC movie, we're goin' to war!!! :cmad:

Yeah, what the hell.

Wasn't Emily originally supposed to be Black Widow but she had to bail out because she was signed onto a Jack Black movie?

Girl doesn't always make the best decisions.

I don't think it was really that simple. From what I understood at the time, she was cast as Black Widow, then Fox exercised an outstanding option on her that was over 3 years old (from back when she signed onto The Devil Wears Prada), and blocked her from doing anything with them until she fulfilled that contractual obligation. So she basically did the Jack Black movie to get it over and done with so that wouldn't happen again.

That's the catch for signing deals, they can pretty much keep you on lockdown.

Wow. Chastain would have been awesome to see in M:I. Shame she rejected it.

Uh, I wonder if they can do that to Chastain now. :oldrazz:
