The "I Hate Claire Bennett" Thread

I hate her!! Her personality, her immaturity, and her ditzyiness.

There is my two cents

She's been one of my least favourites ever since series one. Her storyline is series 2 was dry and only saved by the HRG character. So far in series 3 she's been better but still not that great

Yes! Thank you, somebody had to say it. I'm so sick of her holier than thou attitude towards well...everyone...but especially Noah.

She is still a Teenager, aren't most Teenagers like her? Hating on Parents for protecing them, thinking they know everything, thinking that whats going on in their life is the most important thing in the world. Maybe it's not intentional, but that's how I take it.

I would say she is Frustrating, not annoying. She's frustrating because she doesn't do the smart thing, but, teenagers rarely do the smart thing.

The problem is that her character seemed to have developed, only to regressed for no good reason. It's like they can't decide what kind of Claire that they want: an immature, defiant teenager or someone who understood the stakes and mature into a young lady.

Although maddening. I think it stands to reason. Not to generalize totally, but on average, it seems teenage girls are behaviorally inconsistent at best. Perhaps the most unstable of all God's creatures

If you don't like Claire, just wait until the next time they put her in grave danger that she can never get hurt or die from... that way you'll sympathize with her.

You know... relate to the ability to never die but always be scared and crying like you could!

She's still a teenager. Even though you can't die doesn't equate to situations not freaking you out. Now give her a few years/decades experience with immortality and that could change, but she doesn't have the life experience yet.

I think she's maturing a lot this season, but her relationship with Noah has always been strained.

He's has and is still just putting the family through too much ever since season one. He can make excuses about protecting them, and that's all fine and good, but at some point people reach their breaking points.

It's just too much.

She annoyed me in how long she took to deal with that puppet master guy. instead of saying let them go why didnt she introduce a few volts of electricity to him!!!

I don't hate her. She just wants to help but HRG won't let her because he thinks it's too dangerous. But she cant get hurt so of course she's gonna whine a little. I understand where both of them are coming from.

I thought I was the only one who hated Claire her whole crying I hate my family thing is getting old with each episode. Ok now she can't feel pain if you were paying attention to Adam it was the next step in her power evolution. Future Claire is just super annoying the only thing I liked was the Doyle incident.
