Hey they mention the bad guys from II or the change in the suit in SR. I am not seeing it till tonight, but must no answer nOW!!!

in the press room perry white is giving lists of questions to ask superman and he says something like fashion, hes got a new suit.

i dont think they mentioned zod. in fact they didnt seem to take much from 2 at all.

There's no mention of the 3 villians from Krypton, and there is no explanation about the suit, everything else that is different from the Donner version isn't explained too.

Kitty dropped them at the last minute, Kal-El threw them out into space (unknowingly) do you think Kal-El will go looking for them or do you think his focus will be on his kid? And how is it that his kid has powers? When he slept with Lois he was "mortal"

I think that Kal-El will sort of move on with his life. Yes, he is the last son of Krypton, but he can't go on brooding for his entire life. He's got a family now and they're more important to him than the ghost of his father.

While Superman was mortal, I think that he was still a Kryptonian. He was exposed to beams of the Red Sun, eliminating his Earth powers. He may have lost his powers, but he was still Kryptonian.

I also think that the reason the kid is very sick is due to the fact that he is suffering internally due to his human DNA and Kryptonian DNA. My guess is that the two don't mix well.

i have so many damn questions like, is superman gonna tell lois he's clark? I think that superman would put jason into the molecular chamber and turn jason into a full human. What about the crystals? after kitty drops them how would superman retrieve them all?

yea i was wondering the same thing. thats the reason supes came back... was for the crystals... "you have something of mine." kitty just drops them... how is he supposed to know they are on the continent when he throws it in space?

when kal-el arrives back on farm... why does he pass out? and why the silver suit?

after superman's heart stops... how do they revive him? did they put the piece of kryptonite back in and operate? did he just come back to life?

i know some of these questions will be answered in deleted scenes... but for people that dont come to the boards... these were some questions i think they might ask. i just think they cut too much of the movie.

um...

why on earth would they do that? krytonite is superman's poison...the 1st logical thing to do is to extract it from his body so the healing process can begin. but yes, they can't do anything "normal" to him, medically, so all they can do is leave him be and let him recover on his own. what they should have done was put him under a solar panel or on the rooftop, lol.

kal-el passes out after his flight home because he is severely weakened from his trip to krypton. had they kept that sequence in the movie, you would understand more. there was kryptonite everywhere so he had to make a hasty escape. kryptonite + no yellow sun = almost dead superman.

the silver suit was just a kryptonian space suit. no need to wear the red and blue when he's not patrolling the earth.

i actually knew the answers to the bottom 2... i was just saying my friends, the average movie goer and not superman buffs, did not understand that. thats why i was saying they cut too much from the movie

and... superman was dead after they took out the kryptonite. they couldnt get a needle in him etc etc... so is that just saying he cant die? cause his heart sure stopped and they couldnt do anything. maybe they put the kryptonite in him so he could be "mortal" and revive him.

saw it for the 2nd time today, saw the preview last night, and the 'rents wanted to see it tonight, so I figured, what the hell.

Did Lois know everything from the beginning?

I'm leaning closer towards yes. My main reason for this is because of the relationship between Lois and Clark. She seemed almost as uncomfortable around Clark, maybe even more so, than she seemed around Superman. The scene where she goes out for the smoke on the roof. She tells Clark very clearly that they will talk later. Why did she need to have a deep heart to heart with Clark at that time? Seemed out of place. Unless it was more of an invitation.

After the kid does his bit with the piano, she knows for sure. Does she remember everything? The scene where she is leaving the DP, and Clark is in the elevator with her, and then she totally dumps all her bagage on him. Was that a message to superman via clark, or was she just dumping on clark?

By the end of the movie, I can assume all the pieces are in her brain. But I'm thinking before that. what do you think?

Why not mention the 3 villians. Instead of having Krypton found and him going off to see it. Just take out that line and have him say something along the lines of.

After Zod I need to make sure that I really was the only one. Or something like that.

Can someone explain to me why Superman was wearing a gray jump suit in his initial return from space? They showed him easily able to go into space and fly back in later on so why did he need to return from where he thought Krypton was wearing that suit and riding meteor/asteroid?

Does him getting his powers from the sun have anything to do with it? I'm at a loss here....

it was his krptonian suit to get there..sort of like a space suit thru time..he couldnt fly there..granted i dont think he could hold his breath that long for a trip like that..and i wish singer didnt cut those scenes out to explain it more..shoulda been 3 hours.

the reason he couldn't just fly by himself to Krypton was because if he were to do that the radiation from Krypton would render him 'human' and eventually kill him. so he needed to use his ship to protect him from that...hence the spacesuit. supposedly they filmed more, it's just that Bryan Singer had to scrap a lot of footage for the sake of running time (to the general public the movie is long enough as is).

yeah, it's like Venom made his suit black and made him all "emo" as people say lol or they didn't want him to crash into the fields naked again :p

If only Singer knew how to edit and would have cut some hospital scenes for sake of more intro scenes. Oh well.

^yeah, I wonder how the doctors took his shirt off.

actaully the red sun would make him normal, and the radiation will kill him.

This film needed some flashback scenes to show why he left.

but I remember reading something before the movie was released (it might have been an interview with Bryan Singer) that suggested that the raised shield on Superman's costume somehow saves him. Someone help me out. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
