I havent seen the movie yet but it seems like a lot of people on these boards hated the movie. There has to be someone on here who liked the movie. POST NOW!!!!!! I want to be hyped a few hours before I see the movie.

It's only fair that people who liked it have a thread of their own, since the haters have their own thread too.

LOL, could these boards be turning into the Superman Returns boards. Who would've thunk it? :ninja:

I liked the action sets a lot. One of the best ever. But it feels emptier and less epic and emotional than the action of part two. Spidey does action here better than ever. Spidey in part 3 looks like he can beat spideys from part 1 and 2 in a physical fight based on the action moves he made here (except he lost his trusty spider sense here). But spiderman in part 3 can never beat the spiderman in part 2 in terms of the strenght, integrity and honesty of character.

Come on. This movie was bad fan fiction and you know it.

Weyseed, the thread you're looking for is over here.

In all honesty, I loved this movie. The jazz club scene was a little too over the top, even for my tastes, Sandman could have used another scene, and the final battle is underwhelming, but overall, I would have to rank this up with the first two.

I loved this movie!!! It got real loose and just had fun. It was fun to watch as well as intense.

Great job cast and directors. Thank you for making this!

A piece of mood slime falls from the sky in the most impossible chance event in history, then sandman kills uncle ben and half the police force, then on top of that the mood slime makes peter dance, and on top on top of that Eric Foreman's hanging around acting goofy and ruining the venom character for the hell of it. Yeah, I think I'm in the wrong thread...

Well I loved... i loved bryce's cleavage. That was nice.

i thought the movie was awesome. better than the first, and about the same as the second. i think its one of those movies the more you watch the better youll like it since so much is going on. i thought topher was awesome as brock and venom. the only things i didnt like were i thought the dance routine was a little too long, i think half of it would have been fine but it extended too long, and i also think there needed to be more venom or another fight between spidey and venom or sandman instead of one of the scenes between spidey and mj. it just seemed like there was a whole lot of peter instead of spidey, but thats just my opinion.

I loved Spider-Man 3. Love the themes about revenge and forgiveness. Love the intensity and emotion of the fights. Loved Tobey's performance in this one. Love the fact that MJ and Peter's status flipped in this one, he's the successful and popular one, she's on the ropes getting beat up. Love the third act. LOVED THAT! For me, Spidey 2 and 3 are even and this is officially now my favorite trilogy.

I did enjoy it (even love it at points), but the main problem that stemmed from this movie was that it had a precarious balancing act to follow. There's too much MJ/Peter angst, too much emo Peter/symbiote, and not enough Sandman or Venom.

Anyway, those problems could easily be rectified with an extended edition release. As much as Sony is infamous for doing this sort of thing, I think it'd help this movie immensely.

I am pretty sure that the DVD is going to have at least 15-20 extra minutes...It seemed like Rami had to cut quite a bit, and it was still 139 min, which is pretty long for a movie.

When they do these cuts they take out anything extra, even if its just 2 seconds they will cut it, so I think we will get a lot of footage back.

I loved it. Saw it last night.

Yes, there were some real quirky scenes and I wish the black suit would have been handled a bit more seriously in its affect on Peter. And I wish that they developed Venom a LITTLE more.

But:
The action was great.
The acting was great.
They did a fantastic job developing Eddie Brock.
Harry's arch was beautiful (the scene in the coffee shop was AWESOME)
Mary Jane didn't annoy me.
Sandman was everything he had to be/should have been.
And there were some pretty dark/intense moments. Like right after we have the stupid "dance off" we have Peter hit three men and Mary Jane in the Jazz Club. This was very dark and very intense. I see that Rami tried to balance it out with humour, but I wish he did just strictly dark for the Black suited Spider-man.

It was a great movie that can end up amazing with a good, dark director's cut.

Yeah. People who love the movie definately deserve a thread of his own.

IMO, this is the best Spider-Man movie for me. It has all the actions, humour and drama. Going to see it on Monday. I got a feeling that the dvd release for the movie will be even better!

I don't know why some people laugh at Peter crying. A superhero can't be heartbroken?

I heard some people in the cinema said that Tobey's face is funny, which is partly true.

I love it when Spider-Man becomes Black in the first time. With the background music, it just screams...wow

HI GUYS, I JUST GOT BACK FROM MY SECOND VIEWING OF THE MOVIE AND I GOTTA SAY I ENJOYED IT TEN TIMES MORE THAN I DID LAST NIGHT AT THE MIDNIGHT SHOW!!!:yay: LAST NIGHT SOME IDIOTS WOULDN'T SHUT UP THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE, SO I NEVER REALLY GOT INTO IT!!! SO I WENT BACK THIS MORNING FOR MY SECOND VIEWING AND THE AUDIENCE WAS MUCH BETTER BEHAVED AND I REALLY GOT INTO THE MOVIE AND LOVED IT, YES EVEN THE CORNY PARTS!!! :oldrazz: IT'S NOT PERFECT, BUT IT SURE AS HELL ISN'T AS BAD AS SOME ARE MAKING IT OUT TO BE, THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND I'M STICKING TO IT!!!:o:oldrazz: I'M GOING TO SEE IT AGAIN TOMORROW WITH MY 2 COUSINS AND THE OLDER ONE'S GIRL FRIEND, ANYWAY I LOVED IT 10/10!!!:D:up:

I'm happy this thread was made. I walked the theater just liking it. But as I was taking my final thins morning, I realized I loved it. Easily better than the 1st film, but it falls short of the glory of Spider-Man 2 in my opinion. but that isn't a bad thing at all because I think Spider-Man 2 sets the bar up very high and this film almost got over it. Yeah, the script was a little weird, seemed to jump around, it seemed very fast paced in developing the story, and the dialogue didn't improve much from Spider-Man 2. And I wish there was a little more develoment for Eddie Brock, and I thought Gwen being in there was a little pointless. But what I really like about this movie was that it felt different than the previous 2. I find this one has its own identity and that's what I love about it. The actions scenes are alone worth the price of admission in my opinion and I found the funny and campy scenes to be very enjoyable. I found it to be a very emotional movie and I had a blast watching it. But it has its flaws and it ain't perfect. Seeing it again because I promised my little cousin that I would take him.

Spider-Man: 7/10
Spider-Man 2: 9/10
Spider-Man 3: 8/10

Was there a lot of people at the theater Guardian? And what time did you go?

I wonder why in every movie forum...The hate thread always get a lot more response than the love it thread.

It was entertaining and thats all that matters.
