The "I loved Spider-Man 3" Thread!

There was alot of crying in Spider-man 3 but I think that's because,for most of the characters,they all were going through really tough times and when you're that upset or depressed,you cry.

-You have Peter who finds out his uncle's killer is still alive and then the girl of his dreams breaks up with him,telling him she's in love with another guy. He also feels very ashamed and guilt ridden because of his behavior(due to the black suit)and is pushing everyone away. He is going through a roller coaster of emotions throughout the whole film.

-Harry is still haunted by the ghost of his father and is convinced his best friend was responsible for his dad's death,and he still has his feelings for MJ. I'm sure that mentally,he's a mess.

-MJ goes from Broadway star on the rise to working in some club while Peter is getting all this praise and attention,and it's obviously causing him to flirt with other girls like Gwen Stacy,and thus paying less attention to her. She feels her career and her relationship with Peter is going down the tubes. I will say that while jealousy is a negative emotion,it is a human one. We all feel it and it does hurt at times,when you're not getting the love you need.

-Eddie Brock discovered that the girl he's in love with doesn't care all that much for him,and he's crushed. On top of that he loses his job and is declared a fraud(granted,it was his own fault),not to mentioned that his mistakes are out there for everyone to see so the chances that he could rebound with another job at another media outlet is very slim,at best. Although,it wasn't shown in the film,he has also probably lost his apartment and has no friends,and is on the verge of suicide.

-You also have Flint Marko,who is so afraid of losing his daughter that he's turned to crime. She is the most important person in his life,and probably the only person who still believes in him(considering the fact that it appears his ex-wife hates him).

i hate when people bash this movie, and what i'm about too say will probably make me get emails from sm3 bashers. at least 60% of these bashers probably hear other people talk about the movie and how it "sucked" and they go in with the attitude of that, basically they have no mind of their own. idk, i think this was the best of the three, yeah it did have flaws, but who cares, its a comic book movie. i also love the fact on how everyone wanted spidey 3 after spidey 2, because it was soo good. but after spidey 3, all of the "so called" fans says it sucks and wants a reboot or requel. its just stupid imo.

My friends and family hated it, even my co-workers. It seems that the only place where people like SM3 is on the internet, and even then, it's bit of a gamble. And I find that annoying!

I also think the negative portion is just much more vocal about their hate than we are about how we liked it.

Most of the complaints come from the dance routine and the sobbing, I find. But it's not that big of a deal anyways. Like one of my co-workers, he said Spider-Man 3 was the worst movie he saw in his life. But then again, there's been several "worst movies" he's seen in his life.

I'm still holding out hope for SM3. Based on the info from the "Deleted scenes" page, Rami was "Forced" to cut the film down from 156 min. to 139 min, there are stills of many deleted scenes, pages from the SM3 comic adaptation, & discussions of the SM3 novel contents, all of which convey that the film was rather good in its longer form, & explained many of the plot holes, etc. When an extended edition will come out? When?!!!

I will agree that it isn't the worst movie ever. Hell it isn't even to worst comic book movie ever. However I wouldn't say it was far from bad.

I loved Spider-Man 3. In my opinion it is the best superhero movie ever. Sure there may have been too many story lines and some of the CG didn't work but overall I thought is was amazing.

Actually Batman is still considered a Superhero as far as the vast majority of the world is concerned. Iron-man is not the most faithful adaptation either Sin City and History of Violence are both more faithful I would even Argue that Batman Begins is as well half the stuff they used in the film was ripped from one comic or another.

Even by your standards of Super Hero I would still say WHAT? You think SM3 is better than X2 or SM1 or SM2? All three of those films are far superior. Look if you like SM3 cool whatever, but to think it's better than the other SM's or even X2 is ridiculous. Especially when you your self admits that the story's were to cluttered.
