The "I loved Spider-Man 3" Thread!

I loved this film. Just got the DVD yesterday. It's the best I think. I  Bryce as Gwen. The action was brilliant, the acting was great. I enjoyed it, a lot. :o

^The performances of Tobey and James were spot on, great performances. Thomas and Topher were very good as well.

Well they bumped the hate thread, so I thought I'd take it upon myself to bump the love thread.

Fair's fair, right? :venom:

I love Spidey 3. Without doubt, it is the best one. So dramatic, so enthralling, and so many perfectly dovetailing plotlines. I get excited just thinking about it-! :D I'm going to put it on! No, wait....bed time. I'll watch it tomorrow. Yes.....tomorrow is good.

I liked it, too. Although it had a little too much going on at times, I enjoyed it more than the other two.

Well said. Unlike most people, I liked how there was like 5 plot lines happening at once, and then coming together at the end.

It's only fair that people who liked it have a thread of their own, since the haters have their own thread too.
Yea! I was wondering if anybody was gonna make this thread. and Yea I absolutely loved SM3, i thought it was better than the first two and it's my favorite Marvel movie.

Defenitley, another thing I loved about the film is the whole tone of the film turns dim once Peter finds out his uncles' killer is still alive and then the film switches to dark once he gets the Symbiote. It just really adds to the coolness.

Just watched the film on Blue Ray again, the first half drags on a little (still love the film though!) but it picks up right when the symbiote latches onto Peter. That scene gives me the goosebumps everytime, the music comes on at the perfect time to make it all the more dramatic, love that scene.

I love how the movie starts with Peter finally happy with his life, then everything goes pear-shaped thanks to his own actions. Classic Spidey :spidey:

But what I love is that it still doesn't beat the audience over the head with the darkness so they give it moments that most don't like but are humorous (like the dancing scenes, which I still find funny), to offset the horrible things Spidey does while in the black suit (the MJ slap shocked a hell of a lot of people in my theater when I saw it, and the humor certainly helped that jolt)

While i think Spiderman 3 is the worst movie of the 3, i dont consider it a poor movie, its good, just not as good as the first 2, and it plays a whole lot better on DVD than in the cinema for some reason.

Still wish Black Suite Spidey and Venom had gotten much more screen-time they did, but this film is by NO means the disaster some claim it to be. And the performance of Tobey Maguire and James Franco are absolutely superb IMO, the dynamic between them in their scene's is excellent to watch.

The only thing that really annoyed me was that Peter's Black suit was like just a costume, and didn't retract or have the chameleon abilities. Everything else about the movie I loved.

Agreed, that's typical Parker luck and quite frankly, it's taken straight out of the comics.

Watching it on Blu-Ray really made the movie much more entertaining imo

Damnit, Can blue-ray go on any dvd player?

It truly does. And it's not just the third film, it's the first two as well. DVD just simply does not do these films justice.

I finished watching this again...It still holds up
