I like the title for issue #443....

"I Can't...(And I Don't Want To)...But I Must!"

That's a stinker even by cheesey Stan Lee standards...

:awesome:

That title perfectly sums up what collectors were thinking when they bought that issue. :csad:

Oh, the horror, the horror!

Who the hell are half those characters? We have turkey-neck guy and one looks like Buzz from the 'Daily Grind', but clearly isn't. And what kind of title is that "Where R U Spider-Man???" Sounds like someone came up with that title over AOL Instant Messenger. Gotta love the craptitude of the late 90's Spidey books. :awesome:

Yeah, that cover is beyond butt ugly. :csad: There aren't drunk goggles thick enough that would make me boink that. :o

This was during my "break from comics" period, so I don't own it. But I'll have to check out my Spidey DVD and see some early Kolins work!

I do like that JRJR cover, though. ^

It looks more like the variant is by the late Mike Weiringo.

Am I the only one who liked 'Spider-Hunt/Identity Crisis'?

It had so many classic moments. The fifth Goblin controlled by Osborn (way before the lame reveal of his ID in ASM#18), Peter getting his butt handed to him by Black Tarantula, Peter going on the run, "Bag Man" fighting losers like White Rabbit, "Dusk" teaming up with Trapster to take on Osborn, Osborn realizing who "Hornet" really is, "Prodigy" taking on cool new villains like Mad Jack and Conundrum. The only ID I didn't care for was Ricochet. C'mon it was a good story. :yay: Especially compared to the "Gathering of Five" crap that followed just a few months later.
