This story was terrible (of course! It had two common themes of terrible stories... comic-book resurrections and Steve Skroce art.)

But the redeeming feature was an awesome pull-out poster in the back by John Romita Jr of Doc Ock crawling out of his grave. It almost made it worth it.

Steve Skroce's nickname around my comicstore used to be "Steve Skruuuuaaaagh!!!"

In the pantheon of overrated artists, not even Rob Liefeld can match Steve Skroce. Liefeld's anatomy was bad, but Skroce's figures didn't even look human. It's like a baby threw up on a comic page and he signed it. The fact he replaced Mark Bagley made the sting even worse I think.

Twas a Night Before X-Man? That doesn't even make sense. Who gets to write these covers?:csad:

Methinks these people aren't at Marvel anymore...

They work for Larson... :woot: :woot: :woot:

:yay:

Writer: Tom Defalco.

That's what I'd assume. Unless editorial or the artist added it.

Dumb puns are nothing new to Marvel. They've been around since Stan's time. In fact, as fun as those stories were, the stupidest title I've ever seen is "How Green is my Goblin?"

What the hell does that even mean?

On an unrelated note, X-Man looks like he has a fried egg on his eye.
