changing a stories focus isn't crapping on the fanbase. wally taking the flash mantle wasn't crapping on the fanbase. heck, frodo taking over from bilbo between the hobbit and lord of the rings wasn't crapping on the fanbase. as long as the story stays true, i'm willing to give anything a go. if its crap, its crap, but lets not judge it until it happens

I'd like to elaborate on the Jason Todd is Jason Todd from another universe theory... I think the same is true of Martian Manhunter.

IN JLA 119 martian manhunter states "You're..." right before being blown presumably to bits. I'd like to point out that the look on MM's face is not one of anger, but more of shock. Such as... "you're.... me".

The stories weren't even brewed together. Tolkien was payed to write a sequel to The Hobbit, but didn't know where to start. Tom Shippey, in his recent appraisal of all of Tolkien's books, pointed out that Prof. T attached no great significance to the magic ring when he first began to draft The Lord of the Rings.

I'm almost certain that the Hobbit was written before The Lord of the Rings, or at the least before finished before The Lord of the Rings. If not, then Tolkien wouldn't have had to go back and write a different version of Bilbo's encounter with Gollum after LotR came out since the events of LotR contradicted what happened in the original release of the Hobbit..

And I don't think there will be any delays of the main series. DC seems to really have their timetables in check for the most part.

Umm, seeing as how this is the infinate crisis thread, could some one pleeeese explain it to me?? I asked a few weeks ago, but got mixed results. Just sum it up in a sentance, just give me a vague description please. Ive read all this thread, and from what I can guess, is that it has something to do with these blue omac guys, attacking superheroes, and something might happen to batman, or J'onn J'onzz.

good explanation: Basically, someone is organising lots of events from behind the scenes; allowing for the omac project to begin, organising the villains into a force, ridding the world of magic control and starting an intergalactic war.

basically, the heroes have been ripped apart by paranoia and mistrust to the point where the only member left of the justice league is john stewart. and now everythings going to pot. and it might all be linked to a event that occured twenty years ago, when the multi verse (different dimensions) were melded togeather to create a new reality, the reality we see today.

i hope that was ok. let me know if its more confusing

its not. lol. quite simply, they're bummed. but the next couple of issues are dealing with a new league forming, without the big three of batman, superman or wonderwoman.
