All the DC really did was make the plot actually make sense. It still had a ton of flaws and I still think its a rather weak film. MSJ couldn't handle the big scope movie with Daredevil or Ghost Rider.

People here are still doubting Webb? I can't believe people first think of directors and how they'll handle the action. 500 Days of Summer is a cominc og age story, so is Spider-Man. The relationship between Tom and Summer felt honest and relatable while not feeling too angsty at all. If they're tackling the high school angle with all of this, Webb is a great fit. I'm sure he can pick up on the action.

what was greg wiseman thinking. it was going so well until they changed him into a lion. they could have given him the powers but left the appearence the same. definately a blemish on an otherwise flawless series

I have it. The director cut of the movie was good. The director made some smart hard making choices. But back on topic. I haven't really seen alot of Webb work. I wanna see what this guy got. Who knows he might surprise us.

I just watched 500 Days of Summer,and it is a great movie.The whole time I just imagined that the two main characters were Peter and Gwen/MJ and you just add some spidey action and you have a great spidey flick.
