It's like this when I was in the middle-east a good 70% of the people I met where decent enough, but even still they had this hate in their eye and any conversation I had (most promitly this Iraqi police officer.) their views on women, freedom (speech,religion,music,art..etc..) was very dishearting many had no concept of freedom, although some did.

When discussing women and their rights as equals, man it is mind blowing how most If not all Iraqi men hate women on this fundamentaly deep level.

Even the most civil and liberal of them are so into Islam that they might as well be drones.

Kinda like drones walking around talking about "spreading freedom" and **** like that? Who the **** are you or anyone else to tell them that they're wrong and you're right? Your sense of morality and what you consider "freedom" is entirely individual and simply a matter of perception is it not?

Sorry for the language and if the post sounds a little like I'm telling you off, I don't mean to. I just find the idea that some people seem to think that everyone else wants their way of life to be incredibly frustrating. It's foolish to think that the entire world wants what you consider "freedom."

I've worked with those guys and they are hardcore, I'd go so far as to say their regular troops are comparable to our Rangers.

They are a powerful country, but they got the United States, Russia, and even China ready to pounce them at the first sign of trouble. I think the way things are going over there the middle east is going to get angry at Iran because this terrorist activity is causing them more problems.

How this will effect Iraq? Hard to say.

I dont know. Iran owes Russia and China a lot of money and Iran is thier trading partner. I dont think they want Iran to change. The US might want to obliterate the nuclear sites but can only launch an airstrike, which is a temporary solution.

That's not the point. The point is that if Iran develops nuclear weapons there is the potential for them to fall into the hands of terrorists. Politicians are just as corrupt in Iran as they are in America. Money talks, corrupts, and gives people the ability to buy things they shouldn't buy.
