So Ayer finally fesses up to the flaws of SS and knocks the silly notion on the head that there's bunch of unseen Joker footage somewhere. At least we can now officially quash the illusions that there's a better cut somewhere in WB archives to save this movie.

David Ayer must have been reading the hype when he wrote this.

More like he reads these criticisms everywhere judging by these comments;

"I know Squad has its flaws, Hell, the World knows it. Nothing hurts more than to pick a newspaper and see a couple years of your blood, sweat and tears ripped to shreds. The hate game is strong out there."

I doubt anyone else here watches Gotham but I wouldn't mind if Cameron Monaghan replaced Jared Leto as the DCEU Joker.

Eh, I'll pass on that. Cameron is great and all, but he doesn't need to be replacing Leto. He already has his place on Gotham and that's good enough, imo.

Margot can't act (2nd most awkward next to Leto) and Will wasn't trying (which was people's fear beforehand).

Her bad acting is on full-display with Suicide Squad and The Legend of Tarzan.
If she's the kind of actress that relies most on how capable the director is, then so be it.

I'll give you Will Smith was just turning in a generic Will Smith performance, but it wasn't a bad one. Just wasn't anything special or memorable.
