I gave up on it after a few episodes. The acting was horrible, the characters half baked and stupid, and the made up villains for the show like Balloon Man were laughable.

When Gotham's Joker first really got going at the start of season 2, I thought to myself that it'd be a while until we got a live action Joker this bad again. It took less than a year.

Her bad acting is on full-display with Suicide Squad and The Legend of Tarzan.
If she's the kind of actress that relies most on how capable the director is, then so be it.

I tried so much to get into it, but it's so ''wink wink nudge nudge'' about everything.

Movie didn't even use his best smile.

I'll say this though..
Leto/Joker's laugh while shooting the machine gun was one of my favorite Joker moments on screen.Too bad they didn't do more of that.

Me too, hopefully Batfleck will kill him and they can move on to other villains.

Not that I have anything against the Joker, he's my favorite DC villain. I just have a problem with whatever it was we got in SS that they called "the Joker".

I really think that for people that didn't like him, it can easily be corrected with Leto. He was barely in the movie.

I'm just saying I think it's pretty easy, and the dude is very talented.

I feel as though the Joker has been ruined in the DCeU. If he wasn't in the movie at all nothing would have changed. That's not a feeling you want from arguably one of the most popular comic book characters in history. Also, the few minutes we did get of him were forgettable IMO. It's a shame to say, but if we never saw him again I'd be more than okay with it.

I feel as though the Joker has been ruined in the DCeU. If he wasn't in the movie at all nothing would have changed. That's not a feeling you want from arguably one of the most popular comic book characters in history. Also, the few minutes we did get of him were forgettable IMO. I agree. He wasn't even needed and that is a shame. I just think the movie was so messed up he can easily make up for it. I thought he at least was creepy in the nightclub. That's the only scene I liked him but that gives me hope they'll get him to where the majority wants the character.

He is talented but he had a heavy hand in creating this Joker. His gestures are over the top, and he didn't even see Suicide Squad (like Eisenberg didn't bother to watch BvS). Because of that, Jesse and Jared will likely repeat the same mistakes. Unless Affleck tells Jared to tone it down, Leto will probably be the same guy with similar mannerisms, makeup, tattoo's and clothes. Ben also really liked Suicide Squad so there you go..

I seriously doubt they will tweak him. What will they tweak? His teeth and tattoo's? Doubt it. And if they did, that would be such a minor change at this point.

He was a bit creepy in the nightclub but it was like a creepy Jim Carrey-Mask type of creepy...if you can say that. Most people didn't find that scene creepy though.

Leto's best scene was when he and his goons broke into the lab. Give me more of that and I could maybe get on board.

Agreed. That and the helicopter scene where the only two scenes where I bought that he was The Joker.

Ya know, the part where he's shooting at the squad , not the part after where Harley gets on the helicopter and he says that cringey BS to her and screams for her as she falls out of it.

The ending where he breaks her out was good too.

I mean, he was dressed up in SWAT gear with a Joker nametag on it. That has more to do with Ayer's direction than Leto's acting though.
