The Joker's Lair

I didnt mean the images that u guys, (and girl) posted in particular. I mean knowing that Robin was killed, but now, seeing him get revenge is cool. What sucks is that he is know as much a villain as the Joker, and probably more formidable for Bats.

As Batman said in Under The Hood: "He's good, very good, he's been trained well."

Also they have the emotional connection, and in comic time Jason's only been dead for som 5-8 years so its fresh in Bruce's mind.

Also Jason seems to be mad, almost insane. Decapitating ppl and putting their heads in duffle bags. Yet, he is also very calculated where he single handedly takes over black mask's hold on the underworld.

As Winick said in an interview, maybe Todd is going to be a hero. But since he knows how far the bad guys will go to win, he is willing to cross the moral line to save gotham from the state that its in. Maybe he'll have to do what Batman cannot. when that time comes, will batman look the other way, or stop him?

why because you're dumb?

that made no ****ing sense
No, because I posted complete fact. DC, WANTED Todd to be a street smart kid. They also wanted him to have issues with people and trust, and to be a hard nosed kid. They succeeded. Batman's training was to make the boy channel the anger he had. Todd kept the anger, but saw Robin as a game. Also, you can interpret him as purposely murdering a someone before Death in the Family occured. That made fan's resent him, and all of his former fans saw all of the little annoyances that were Jason Todd. They voted that he should not live in the 1988 poll, they got their wish.

Though the anatomy on his Joker is frequently off, I love the level of detail Jim Lee puts into the character...

I love Lee's joker

but I dislike that pic for obvious reasons....should be the other way around

You know, I don't see that many scenes of the Joker beating up Batman. I'd like see more of them, it'll put them on an even playing field.

On another note, I love this pic. I like it's style.

Also, trying not to toot my own horn, like the way I did these two. I know one you saw, but the other you didn't. And they both look creepy.

Hey all. Great thread! I recently joined the DC RPG over on the DC boards as The Joker. So, I felt I needed to read a little more Batman stuff to get more accquainted with the character.

I bought "The Long Halloween", and I have to say that it is quite possibly the best comic I've ever read. Today, I bought the follow-up, "Dark Victory", as well as "The Killing Joke", which I've heard is the definitive Joker story.

I have to say, the more I read about The Joker, the more interesting a character I think he is. Being more of a Marvel fan, I've always viewed The Joker as the one truly great DC villain (though Two-Face and Lex Luthor get honourable mentions), and now I like him more than ever.
