Well, yes. And yet they kept the jokes about stretchy pants, banner's sexual life and the stupid cab sequence.![]()
I agree with you on this. Hmm, the term "Hulk-lite" comes to mind.

That would make a great tease to end IM2.as long as they have hulk in avengers and mention him so we remeber he exists in the other films
like a hulkbuster suit for iron man.
Should Tim Blake Nelson wear that cool Leader suit from the comics in the sequel? Possibly with duller colors.

And that's not campy at all.I say just make him look like a scientist gone mad.
If Hellboy can get a sequel...

agreed, TIH was far superior to the first Hellboy
It was superior to both Hellboys. Which is not much to say. But still, it deserves a sequel. Even if only to see a better Hulk movie.
I get your point, but it can be done right. I mean at least Fox didn't put Wolverine into yellow spandex.
I wouldn't say that. I enjoyed both Incredible Hulk and Hellboy 2 equally.

I agree. I put TIH in the "good but not great" camp of superhero movies. That still puts it ahead of about 90% of them. To my mind, Hulk suffers from the same problem that had plagued Batman, 2 different competing fan bases(comics & TV show). Batman started out well in movies and then degenerated quickly into crap. Hulk started out with crap and is slowly improving. Ultimately, Hulk needs to get to the point that Batman got to, ditching the TV show completely(BB was the first Batman film to truly do this). The comics are where they both started and where their best stories were told. Seems pretty simple to me. Why continue to do and interpretation of another interpretation(which is what the TV shows are)? It's the old "a copy of a copy isn't as sharp anymore" scenario.
