While there's a World War Hulk thread in the Hulk boards, this is about the Hulk's activities that will be affecting other books. Iron Man, the Initiative, X-men, She-Hulk, and so on will all be touched on by the big Green Behemoth. Frankly, Frontline is a different series from Hulk too. I think its better to discuss events about them here than in other threads.

So, really, talk about how you think The Jolly Green Giant is going to do against the entire MU.

He'll effect them as much as MDay, Decimation, and the Clone Saga have. A year or two from now, no one will ever mention them whatso-ever.

Civil war will probably end up like this, to a lesser extent.

errr isn't that a bad example? The Clone Saga was a decade ago and people still talk about it. In fact, they point to it ALL the time as an example of everything wrong with comics. It comes up in every other thread at least once.

Secret Wars was over 20 years ago yet its still talked about.

That's not bringing up DCU's "Crisis on Infinite Earths" which is pretty much still driving the entire company.

I mentioned this in the Hulk comics thread. After this event, I think the Avengers and FF should be evicted from New York. The citizens demand they move their headquarters out of New York once and for all. It's a bummer, because New York is a quick reference for artists and writers who live there. But after this, who wants to their city to be a war zone?

Mday and the Decimation are still in the air, You Know. If it isn't Iron Man not wanting another Wanda in the Sentry, it's X-factor with X-cell, and other books with Ex-mutants (the new NW book coming out.)

Whoever it effects I hope the HULK does the effecting...I would love to see him pound quite a few people...

That's somewhat likely--it would make sense, but knowing who we got running things now, they probably won't even think of it.

You mean Joe Quesada, or Iron Man? I'll tell ya, Magneto's attack, Civil War, and WW Hulk. They even include 9/11 in their history. It's enough to drive any major to kick them out. Individuals like Daredevil and Spidey can stay. But the people will believe the FF and Avengers just draw destruction to the city.

I'm talking in-comic. Whens the last time someone actually brought up the Clone Saga, Totemic arc, The Other, so on and so forth IN COMICS?

The Clone Saga, and the Other are character related things. Something like Civil War and WWH are the kinda things that effect the MU as a whole. Big difference.

Sure eventually, they'll ignore it. Maybe after Joe Q leaves office and somebody else takes over that didn't have a hand in all this. (That's something people tend to forget. Just because Joe Q isn't EIC, doesn't mean they wont put some of the other architects of the current status quo in charge. We could just as easy see Bendis as EIC after Joey Q. Be careful what you wish for is all I'm saying. :o ) At the very least they'll be milking CW, Decimation, and WWH for the next five to ten years.

Oh and they have been making reference to the Clone saga for quite some time now. I mean, Pete's secret ID is now Ben Riley.

Wolverine remembers everything, the 198 are still only around 198, striker came back to finish off the mutants, so how can M day and decimation be counted as non events when the effects are still very much being felt?

Well my thoughts on Incredible Hulk 106# was that it was an excellent introduction into the saga even if I thought it read like She-Hulk 19# (and ruined the ending of She Hulk 18#). Mastermind Excello is a fun character even if he's a little snot. The only reason that I can stand him is that he KNOWS he's a snot and uses that to disguise the fact that he's a manipulative bastard.

Seriously, though. Is Doc Samson the world's worst therapist? "By the way, about Doctor-patient confidentiality? Yeah, I pretty much said screw that and gave away your intimate files to destroy you."

The story was directly continued in World War Hulk: Prologue and I've got to say that I very much enjoyed it too. The best part was the fact that Hulk and Samson comparing how everyone remembers their pasts with rose tinted glasses. Also, the Warbound has no real idea that the Hulk isn't playing with a full deck right now.

It is true new york will turn into a war zone but hasnt that happend quite a few times before? I dont tihnk itll be any worse then the countless times multiple heros has caused major destruction.I doubt the ff and avengers will be asked to leave either.I dont tihnk its going to come out that they are responsible for hulks anger. Not sure what will happen to hulk though.

Yeah and if the Avengers/FF moved out then they'll just be there anyway when aliens or whatnot attack New York again.

I think the public will learn how they exiled him. But just like with the SHRA, evicting them would be to set their minds at peace. It won't stop the threats, but it won't look like they're inviting it.

Hulk #107 preview at Newsarama

I'm actually more excited for this arc than I am for WWH as a whole. I really hope the Hulk winds up accepting Hercules, Angel, Amadeus, and maybe Namor as additional Warbound. Also, did the Hulk get smaller or did Herc get bigger? They're just about the same size now the way Frank draws them. I think Herc's the right size but Hulk should be bigger, myself. Still, Frank's art is fantabulously amazing. Looking forward to it.

I also can't wait for this. The idea of Angel and Hercules fighting with the Hulk has me excited. Angel's return to his old costume his a major plus, too.

The 80's are back!

Not quite his old costume. It's the costume he wore in the Xavier/Magneto/Genosha Excalibur series a year or two ago. I'd have preferred the old costume with the halo emblem rather than the weird bird... thing emblem he has now, but it's still much better than anything else he's worn in the last few years.

OTOH, do you really think the average New Yorker is going to care that Reed + company sent Hulk into space?

Then again, they also brought down Hulk's wrath now.

They'll care that their city will be demolished because they happen to be based there. Ms. Marvel was smart enough to move to a small hellicarrier.

I didn't read Disassembled until it came out in trades. I didn't spend a dime on House of M. I avoided Civil War, except for reading online gossip and reviews.

But dear god, I want to see Hulk tear the Illuminati a new one. Marvel has finally found a crossover that I'll spend ridiculous amounts of money on. Damn them.
