and the funny thing is that his mother is Diana Ross, who was married to Berry Gordy, who made the original Last Dragon.

Seems like a good choice!

there is not a single woman today who is as hot as Vanity was back in the 80s!

can't believe i didn't make that connection.

Evan Ross wouldn't be a bad choice, and yes there aren't many actresses as hot as Vanity, she's was ridiculously beautiful.

i want rihanna for vanity...she'd be perfect. she has shown that she can mask that caribbean accent when she wants to.

And that she can take a punch.......too soon?

Can she? That was my biggest worry. I think she can be great.

I wouldn't even rate Rihanna near Appolonia nevermind Vanity.
Also, Rihanna, whilst popular, just doesn't seem to have that nastyness that Vanity had.
I say do a good proper search instead for a replacement.

BTW we keep calling the character Vanity but i believe that was the person who played her. IIRC the character's name is Laura Charles

Finally, RZA remains active in developing a remake of beloved cult classic “Berry Gordy’s The Last Dragon.” When asked if there’s been any movement on the project, which has been silent for awhile now, RZA updates that it’s “Still in fruition, had a meeting about that last week.” When asked if Samuel L. Jackson is still involved to play Sho’nuff, The Shogun Of Harlem, he says, “He’s still down. Dallas [Jackson] is still on board, John Davis is still onboard. A new guy joined the team, Reginald Hudlin. We’re gonna decide [who is directing], right now we just want to re-write it one more time. You won’t believe what we’re doing with it.”
