It's funny, on various sites I have seen people post the view that Kleins performance in this movie was deliberately hammy; crafted to be an observation on 80's action movie 'bad acting' - so it can be considered as a kind of a satire and some sort of work of genius.

Personally, I just think that's a huge reach and elevates Kleins game beyond what hes capable of - I think it's more plausible, given past performances, that the guy is just plain bad to mediocre as an actor.

I finaly watched, and it sucks. Honestly.
Totaly unrecognizable characters. Not even for one moment I felt that Kreuk was Chun-Li or the other actors were the characters they were portraying.
The only good thing out of it, imo, was Robin Shou and the mention of Ryu. The rest simply sucked.
Klein's acting was just so terribly forced that he deserves an oscar for that. It seemed that I was watching a mexican soap opera.
Seriously, I can write something better than the story of this movie. It's just too bad.
1/10.

PS: Van Damme's Street Fighter is WAY better than this one. At least, the old one was funny and is entertaining to see. I wouldn't be capable of watching this movie again.

ya,lol I was like WTF is going on.
This movie blew imo,I watched 12 Rounds right after and found it way better which ain't saying much.
