As if the guy in the 94 film looked handsome. Vega had a very androgynous look, while being a male, his face alone resembled that of a female. I'm pretty sure with todays makeup, they could possible make Taboo or whatever his name is appear to be handsome in the same vein as vega, or who knows, he might not remove his mask.
 
There's still the muscle problem. The '94 Vega at least was well trained, and with the Mask on looked like Vega.

What are they going to do in this movie? Let him have a slim body like a woman too? I hope Taboo did some serious workout.
 
despite Taboo not being as pretty as the Vega we know, i have a feeling he'll ace his mood and character.

as for his musculature, all he needs to do is get toned. he's really not that skinny.

yeah basically, but we don't know how big of a role Vega may play in this film. One thing the 94 version messed up with his character is the fact that Vega cant stand for his face to get scratched. When that happens, he goes psycho because his face is his most prized posession. I remember him getting burned and he just gave Ryu a crazy look
 
Did Vega actually have any lines? I think I can only remember one. And that was basically just "Die!" Or was there more?

I believe during the Ryu fight towards the end he said "where were we?" implying to them finishing their fight from earlier on.

I really cant believe Vega from freaking TV commercial looks better than Vega in the movie.

Not too mention a E.Honda that was from Hawaii, a cameraman Balrog, a brown, low haircut Ken, Ryu was just "meh", a scrawny T-Hawk, a very generic Fei Long i mean Sawada.

It's from the live action TV Advertisements of Street Fighter 2, I believe, Guile, Vega, Chun-Li, and M.Bison were shown, I'll try to find them and post the links.

There were also Fatal Fury and Art of fighting live action adverts as well, I'll find those too
 
 
 
The bad thing about SF and film is that it seems like the directors that attach themselves to the project dont know that much about the game. Chun-li is widely known throughout the series, but her storyline is pretty cliche, Bison killed her father so she is out for revenge. Ryu possible has the most interesting story, seeing that he is on the path to becoming the strongest fighter, all while dealing with the Dark Hadou power inside. It seems like Fox has tried to take the easy route
