hmm. not sure how that is so...
we do it everyday, every hour, err every minute some days depending on the setting
at first i had hopes for this movie but now that the rest of the cast is revealed, i can easily see this becoming another DOA. ugh! Chris Klein as Charlie? MCD as Balrog? Rick Yun (36) as the OLD master Gen??? wtf! plus, they cast a female who would've made a much better Chun-Li than Kristen Kreuk in a yet to be determined part.
*sigh* oh well, it can't be as bad as what they're doing to Dragon Ball...
I hope this will be as fun as DOA: Dead or Alive was.
I don't get it why people bashed it so much. What did they expect? The Deer Hunter 2? It was supposed to be brainless popcorn fun with nice t&a.
It's my guilty pleasure. Sue me.![]()

yeah but it's not like Chun-Li's age is the most important element of the script. even if they want a younger Chun, Bloodgood's only 32 but could easily pass for a 26 y/o. plus, she looks much more like a FIGHTER than Kreuk does.I gotta defend Kreuk on one part though. This story seems to be a prequel of sorts, so its not like there asking here to play the full on grown up Chun Li either.
totally agreed...I can't see how some people even thought DOA was fun. The characters looked like cheap cosplayers, the fighting was bad and with one of the lamest villains ever.

once again...it's not extremely important to the story that she remains a teenager. they said, at it's core, it's a revenge movie. it's not like the script requires her to be in high school during the bulk of the movie. as for her ethnicity, she's half dutch/irish and half south korean. The movie is suppose to set Chun Li in her teenage years. Like you said Bloody Moon or whateve the **** her pseudo native american name is, is 32.
she may be trained in martial arts but her body looks frail. hopefully it'll look stronger in the movie though. truth be told, i like Kreuk and i think she has a near perfect face for Chun-Li, but i would've prefered someone that's not so girly and a lil' more womanly....even if she's supposed to be a teen in the script. As far as the whole petite fighter thing goes....I mean it passes in some manga and at worst this will be something like that (a live action Manga joint, which looks horrible of course as DOA can attest but at least logically speaking within the confines it somewhat works) and she is trained in martial arts I know that so again its not that much of a strech.
