I'm still gonna give this movie a try. Sure Vega doesn't look quite like I wanted him too but I can't judge the movie on this trailer alone. Plus the actors involved, while not all are megastar quality are still fine enough to have me give it the once over. Then when that's all said and done it still has a long way too go before it's as bad as the Van Damme version.

Plus you talk of looking like the game counterparts, the Van Damme movie made some cringe worthy attempts in order for them to look like the game.

I'm not those people. I liked those looks. They resembled the characters, in my opinion. In fact I was an avid defender. Here there's nothing to defend.

I don't mind changing the characters a bit...but any good director who appreciates the source material should make it so they are at LEAST recognizable....if no one told me that the white haired guy was Bison, I never would have even guessed. That's bad. Really bad.

yeah...they went TOO realistic. they went so realistic that they stripped everything that makes Bison look like Bison and made him realistically uninteresting from a visual standpoint.

People have already explained to you how it's not silly. Obviously that's not getting through to you.There's nothing realistic about Street Fighter. It's over the top and should stay that way.

I just saw the international trailer. Definitely, one of the worst trailers I've seen for the year. This one actually made the weak Dragon ball evolution trailer look brilliant.

I agree with you that this trailer sucks, and definitely hasn't piqued my interest in watching it at the cinema. I've seen B-movies churn out better trailers than that. But to pick up on your other point, I don't think the DB Evolution trailer on its own was weak. Unlike Street Fighter, DB has definitely piqued my interest, which is what a trailer is suppose to do.

Exactly, but some people on here make the outrageous claim that Bison wearing a Nazi style uniform is ridiculous. Although it doesn't have to look exactly like how it does in the game, instead of him wearing a cape, it can be a trenchcoat. Bison in this film is badly unrecognizable

"This is real life." What? It's a damn movie too. Suspension of disbelief is a big part of the medium. If a guy in a uniform is too much for you than you should stick to documentaries.

Sorry but no, that's not as close as they could get. If you can whine about purple pants and red pajamas then I can whine about size, eyes, and skin color.

In the end he still looks like Goro. He just isn't a carbon copy of the game. And how often do I have to repeat that we want the actors to resemble the game character? Not exactly look like them. Seriously, I get the impression you only read what you want to read.

I'm supposed to admit that I like the designs? Isn't that the whole ****ing problem? You guys have been *****ing about them, I haven't. Figure it out.

It basically started with you making comparisions to TDK and your Batman/Joker changes argument were shattered. Then you made fun of the game designs and we tried time and time again to tell you that they could be translated to the screen with changes having to be made. But you still think we want the red suit 100% from the game.

Some time later you started to nitpick about Goro and continued ignoring obvious designs in the movie that were prefectly translated from the game to the big screen, furthermore insisting that the game design would look silly on screen and so on, etc, etc.

If you actually would've just said that you are fine with the designs and accept a couple changes, we wouldn't have had this discussion the last couple pages. Instead you make fun of the designs, ignore obvious examples of other translated game designs and refuse to accept the idea that the game designs with modifcations could've been translated to the movie.

I haven't heard much about Tekken, but it looks like they at least found some decent martial artists. So at least the fights might be good. The only real martial artist in Street Fighter seems to be Robin Shou.

But I didn't know they were making a KoF movie. Are there already any pics or interviews?
