It kind of has been in a way. 5 years in between them is kind of a lot when you're used to 2 or 3 years.

Yeah the title is just weird. It makes it sound like it's the second part of the sequel, as in there is a Lego Move 2 Part 1 out there somewhere.

At least the Wreck-it-Ralph trailer made a joke about why they called it Breaks the Internet instead of Wrecks the Internet

I actually think this looks pretty good. The storyline looks interesting, and it looks a lot better than the past 2 spinoffs, which I found kind of messy and obnoxious. It's a lot easier to tell what's going on here.

Haven't see Ninjago, but LEGO Batman has a great start and then gets really messy in the third and final act.

I feel like Lego Movie was an eternity ago, I'll definitely see this though.

Don't take it as personal, it ain't directed to you specifically, but it's sad how these days something that's just four years old is already forgotten and jurassic. And it sure ain't the movie's fault, b/c The LEGO Movie is pretty memorable.

It's probably b/c movies used to have a healthier shelf life: first came the theatrical release, then half a year after that the home video edition, then the pay-tv premiere, and two or three years after the debut the network/free-tv premiere.

This way movies would stay relevant for at least two or three years. Man, I freakin' hate this era. And if it were for me, I'd actually have the digital/iTunes versions of the movies released MONTHS AFTER DVDs, Blu-Rays and UHD Blu-Rays hit shelves.

What makes it feel so long ago in my case was that my child was a toddler when it came out, and now he's in school. That's what makes it feel so old to me, because I remember him just starting to pay attention to movies when we watched it.

I'm looking forward to this. Because of this film I was excited for Lego Batman the movie only to be let down by it. Enjoyed Batman much more in the first Lego Film.
