The Lightning Saga, JLA/JSA Crossover

I thought she wanted to have more time for, uh, Sin or something.

I'm sure Simone was told to leave her departure pretty vague in the reasoning department.

I really wish your hands would be cut off.

Characters like Zatanna, Firestorm, the Atom, and Plastic Man were hardly "worthy" enough names for the Justice League until they actually were on the Justice League. As it is today, they barely have a presence outside of the League anyway. What makes them so fitting for the League where Geo-Force and Black Lightning aren't?

True.

I'm sure Zatanna, Firestorm, the Atom and Plastic Man all got a lot of negative comments before they became fan favorite.

I like the team, so I say wait and see.:yay:

I can't wait for someone to start a can't wait list so I'm going to start now.

I can't wait to see each teams respective Green Lantern together in the same room.

Red Arrow and Hawkman with Hawkgirl in the middle, you know that's going to be a hell of a scene.

How the other team reacts to each teams chairperson (Canary and Power Girl)

Cyclones geekgasm at seeing both teams together.

Starman!

So pretty much you want the same League we've had for the last 50 years in some shape or form. Boooring.

Only a ****** would think that's boring.

Anyway, that the concept alone of that League is five million times more interesting than first seven issues of the current book.

Damn right I do :cmad: and as Leaguer said, only a ****** would find a team of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter to be boring.

Actually issue 7 kicked ass. The rest though, left me disappointed.

Yup...Issue 7 is pretty much the only issue thusfar that didnt disappoint me in any way, shape or form....

But it still had Geo Force in it....so i guess it disappointed me a little...

Not really, I like things to change. Without change we wouldnt have JLI, so no, only a ****** cant accept change.

WTF your avatar made me want to go out and buy BB13, which I did, yesterday. Along with Ion11 which I was, for some reason, missing.

Gotta tell you, I'm glad I picked it up cause it restored my faith in the book.

But ok, why do the writers keep mentioning LSH with this crossover? Or uh, whatever it's called. I keep seeing "JLA/JSA/LSH crossover". They gonna start putting out a LSH book that I gotta pick up for this thing or no?

The Legion of Superheroes is a big part of the crossover, but you dont have to buy the book or anything.

And awesome dude, glad you bought Blue Beetle.

Black Canary as leader, Geo-Force's presence, the unimpressive headquarters and, most of all, R-R-R-Red Arrow.

JLI is hardly impressive. Change is fine, s***ty change is not. Case in point, what we have now. They cancelled the Morrison/Waid/Kelly series for this garbage. Only a ****** likes change like that.

The slap me around and call me a ******, because I like the new JLA book, its not as good as Morrison's run, but what really is?

Nothing, but that doesn't mean you should like s***.

In my humblest of opinion, I dont think the new JLA is ****. There are definite rooms for improvement but its not ****.

Meltzer really should stick to writing a Roy solo title or something.

No, Meltzer should stay far away from Roy. As the fantastic Newsarama review pointed out, what Meltzer did with Roy makes no sense. The entire point of the story was Roy coming into his own and separating himself from Ollie's shadow, and Meltzer accomplishes that by making him a carbon-copy of Ollie?

Everything about the series needs improvement, except some of the characterizations, particularly Red Tornado's, even though I don't want him there in the first place. The line-up is terrible. I got sick of Black Canary in Birds of Prey, seeing her leading the JLA is not pleasing. Geo-Force, Vixen and Hawkgirl range from boring to out-right crappy. Hal Jordan? Please. Black Lightning is pretty interesting, I'll give Meltzer that, but beyond him and the Big 3, none of them should be there.

The plot was incredibly slow. Red Tornado's story didn't even go anywhere. As a character study in general it was pretty good, but for 6 issues? That's insane. Johns' rogue profiles were only one issue. It took seven issues for everything to come together and for the team to be formed and the Big 3 spent half of that in the Batcave.

And where the hell is Martian Manhunter?

Thats over simplifying the whole thing but I'll just let you vent.

And where the hell is Martian Manhunter?

Casualty of OYL. It wouldn't make sense to have him on the League considering all the I hate the world I'm emo **** they did to him.

J'onn has a new friend.. so they are going to start a Emo band..
"Martian Emo"
