Horror The Long Walk

I mean… of all the things we’ve seen get faked with CGI, I can’t imagine this is that hard to do.
The VFX artist going home and trying to enjoy dinner after animating s*** all day

LOL now I’m imagining how Randall in Clerks 2 would describe this movie. “IT’S JUST TWO HOURS OF PEOPLE WALKING!”

New Ending For The Long Walk

Amazon.com has the DVD, BD and 4K BD listed on their site with some very interesting info.

1. They list the running time as 2 hours and 30 minutes. While shown at the cinema the running time was only 1 hours and 48 minutes. It's not stated what the extra 42 minutes are. It could be a directors cut edition, all extra material included or just an error on Amazon's part.

2. They list a new ending on the 4K edition that I'm very interested in. This new ending is only included in the 4K edition.

The extra 42 minutes are probably just the runtime for the bonus features. I'm guessing the alternate ending is closer to the book.

The alternate ending is just a different dialogue exchange, from the test screening there was just a slight difference to the theatrical, The Majors' lines were a bit different and after Pete kills him he sees the same woman that Ray see's earlier at the chapel, and walks on ahead towards her. In the book the shadowy figure represents death.

Saw this a few days ago, and really loved the film. The characters, acting, writing, direction, score, cinematography were all really well done! 9/10.

Also have a funny story to tell.

My friend and I went to a theatre to see the film, waiting for it to start. Suddenly, a lot of kids started walking in, which I thought was so weird.

One of the people working said they mixed up the poster and screening with Gabby’s Dollhouse. We had to go to the other end of the theatre to see it. :funny:
