there was already a suit being sculpted for keaton that was very similar to the panther suit. but shumacher ordered a redesign that added more defined musculature (hence the way overdone abs) a sleeker, shinier finish, and, of course, the nipples.

Keaton's panther suit would have been awesome.

The muscle detail's wouldn't be as big, They were most likley gonna be like in '89 but still a similiar design to what we got.
The cowl would look pretty much the same as we got in Forever aswell.

the cowl in forever was great. it improved upon the returns one, which was very good as well

i have no idea. i didn't really like the black utility belt, so i think i'll put that one on schumacher. my favorite thing about the panther suit, apart from the overall sleekness, is the symbol.
i also think had the suit been for keaton, the cape/cowl situation would've been more like 89 and returns. i don't like the look of the symbol as a clasp for the cape.

See, that's the problem. No concept art of the Panther suit exists so we can't really examine the design evolution as we were able to do in B89 and BR.

Yeah we havent seen any concept art. But,they did many diffrent "test sculpts" that looked very alike of the actual suit they used.
But they did plenty of test sculpts.

I have a picture where you can see a test sculpt of the panther cowl that i got from a friend, It looked more like it did in returns, wich is what they based the panther suit on. Specially the cowl.

They also did diffrent kinds of Sonar suits, many prototype's. One of them was in fact black.
My friend from the States Visited the bat-shop when they made the suits, and he saw one of the stunt men wearing that Sonar suit in black, the design was a little diffrent from the silver one we got. But it looked better in black then silver acording to him, and the details were a little diffrent aswell.

As for the bat-suits, Returns is still my all time favorite.
