did they say were having a panel for the film this year at Comic Con?

No. They aren't having a panel. Paramount rarely makes an appearance at Comic-Con.

Right now, it seems as though we may not getting anything. HOWEVER, IF they do end up presenting something from the movie (and that's a big "if") , it'll be at the All Things TMNT panel Kevin Eastman will be at on Thursday at 10am, or at the Nickelodeon's TMNT cartoon panel, Friday at 2pm.

Nickelodeon's panel seems the more likely of the two, but it could be at either. So we'll see.

maybe something at the NYCC? that'd be a little more fitting.

I hope a pic of the turtles comes online soon.

Regarding the look of the Turtles, I doubt we'll see any of the Turtles when they release a teaser trouble a couple of months later.

I'd be totally happy if they looked like this.

thats not bad

would only say I'd prefer the chest to look more shell like, instead of muscular

A tad bit too muscular (they are just teenagers mind you...at least, I think). But other than that I'm totally down with this look as well.

Here's some gameplay from the Out of the Shadows game. The guy at the start said that with Nick's approval, they pretty much made a game for the older fans with the look of the new toon, but more real...

Those video game designs are pretty much perfect I think.
Would be happy if they turned out like that.

The two main things that I hope they stay away from with the designs....

1.Making the turtle look too much like real turtles.

2.Making them look too intimidating or scary.

I kind of have mixed feelings about how tall Raph is in those disguise pictures, but I'm curious to see how that works out.

I agree. I also would prefer if they didn't quite look like they had a beak.

This is the best of both worlds for me...not having a beak looks a little too cartoonish for a live action flick this day and age, but most designs I've seen that do include a beak look ugly or unrecognizable as "the" turtles. This is a nice inbetween for me.

You know, I didn't even look to much at the chest (more concerned about the faces), but now that I'm looking, yeah, tone down the chest shell muscles...I don't mind the shell lines/shape having a subtle resemblance to torso muscles, but here it's way to much. Change that and it's damn near perfect.

I can get behind this. It's actually a better design, to me at least, then the "Out of the Shadows" game designs... even if I want to play that game badly. lol

Yeah. Me too. That game looks awesome, but outside of what we've seen of The Shredder's design, I don't care for that game's look.

Not a fan of designs where the turtles look nothing like teenagers. It's one of the aspects that the new cartoon got perfectly right.

I'm interested in how Bebop and Rocksteady will look, assuming they're in the film.

So a post from the comic book movie site has some new info on the new TMNT movie, And it mentions about the look of the Turtles in the movie.
First off, sources have come forward with minor details on the Turtles' new look in the upcoming reboot. Their new look is said to be noticeably different, however, still recognizable from what has come before. A notable difference is that the new turtles are considerably more humanoid than previous incarnations. This is in line with what was described in the original script of the film (which also described a more humanoid appearance for the turtles, including a considerably taller height than usual), as well as early set reports from members of the press back in June. Of course, take this with a grain of salt for now.

So they're human sized basically. Their shortness coupled with their ninja skills was what made it awesome. But we'll see.

I assumed they'd be tall after seeing Raph in his trench coat with April. I didn't see them making him shorter.

As long as they don't stray away too farm from the old films and comics and don't go the "well this is how a turtle really looks so it only makes sense" route.
