Hate when this happens. Woke up with my arm in an odd position. Go to move it, and I can tell my shoulders sore. It's not crippling pain, or anything remotely like that. Just made overtime at work a little longer, lol.

I miss when I was a kid, and could plop down face first in any position, and be fine. Leg off the bed, butt in the air, and arm bent under me? Just fine!
I love how old people make it sound like kids are near indestructible. :oldrazz:

Cold pads are a good ally in this case.

It's not that we think kids are near indestructible.....it's that we know near everything hurts us oldies.

i really want to get back into reading, but ive read so many disappointing books lately. part of me just wants to go back a revisit some of the books i've enjoyed reading over the years.

anyone have any books they'd like to recommend. either books yall enjoy or something you're looking forward to reading?

I'm a big fan of all of the books by Orson Scott Card in the ENDER series. I've read Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead multiple times.

At this point avoid most of the young adult section.

Is any of the disappointing books the entertaining kind of bad?

Did you read John Green books? That guy is pretty cool, and my brother recommends his books.

in person?

I've only been to one NFL game in person. Buffalo Bills versus the Tennessee Oilers. It was that long ago, haha. I think they became the Titans a year or two later.

Anyone remember this show? Wal Mart has the whole season on DVD but I thought 30 bucks was a bit too much for it

I partially remembered this show the other day but couldn't remember the name. I think it came on WGN or UPN in reruns when I was little.

Marvel? How come he doesn't pop up in their wikia even once?

I remember seeing clips of some episodes, and feeling like I won't like this one bit.

Apparently he's originally from Malibu comics.
That answers that question.

I looked it up cause the publisher company name doesn't appear on the box in the image Morg posted, and found this.

There not one bit about this guy, not even on comicvine.

Wikipedia has something on it, though not much on the original comic. Well, a bit but still not a very popular one going by the lack of extreme detail most comics get.

Published by Malibu Comics for its Ultraverse line, the comic book Night Man gained his powers from an accident. A piece of shrapnel became embedded in his head after his vehicle was struck by a cable car that had been hit by a burst of energy known as a "jumpstart". The energy is later found to originate from The Entity, an alien starship which had crashed on the Moon. Night Man jumpstarted, but the passengers of the cable car were also, some of which went on to form The Strangers. This version of Johnny Domino, while not unconditionally telepathic, could hear evil thoughts, could see in the dark and did not require sleep. His costume and equipment were merely makeshift items from hardware stores and the like, plus a kevlar vest his father lent him. His father was a former police officer turned security guard at a San Francisco Coney Island-type amusement park called "Playland", based upon the real-life Playland (San Francisco).

He used both a gun and a taser to fight crime, though the gun was only used as a last resort and even then, never used to kill. This version did not fly, but he used a grappling hook and rope to swing about the city, in addition to a used motorcycle he bought in the first issue as a means to transport himself quickly. A final difference, though minor, pertains to Johnny Domino's legal name. In the comic book, his name is Johnny Domingo (shortened to Domino as a catchy name to capitalize on his career as a saxophone musician) and his father's name was Edward Domingo (as opposed to the name his father was given on the television series).

During the series, Nightman meets and befriends the Freex, a group of super-powered teenagers on the run. In addition to dealing with his own problems, Nightman promises to watch out for them. Unfortunately he must deal with the death of one of the team, Plug, murdered by the Ultra-killer Rafferty.

Issue one was drawn by the character's designer and co-creator Darick Robertson.

I actually have a signed one shot crossover with this guy and Gambit that was actually quite good. :)

Oookkkkaayyy. Malibu were purchased by Marvel in 1994, that explains the Marvel part.

The NIGHTMAN show was made by and originally aired on the WGN cable station. Not sure if it was ever syndicated.

Yep ;) But they now hold games in the U.K. a few times per year and I have a few mates who are obsessed with it so we go to them. Fun days out!
