Are you getting paid? Then it's fair. You've indicated how much you're struggling with your job a few times, perhaps it's time to search for something else?

I've been at this job for 13 years and I've been getting retirement since I was 23. It's not something I can just up and walk away from as I've made it my career. There's a lot of benefits and the like that I just don't want To throw away.

I complain but I honestly like my job. I really enjoy what I do and the patrons I've met along the way as well. However if we were public sector rather than private (govt), the people who are not doing their jobs right or who continue to mess up would've been fired a long time ago. Instead, the government seems to promote when punished once you get to a mgmt position.

The crew I'm on is basically behind the scenes trying to fix and correct as many of these problems as we can but its just frustrating for us going week to week not knowing what schedule we will have. We have gotten a lot done truly, but I was just very frustrated since one of the managers (whose problems and mistakes we have been working on throughout) throws us under the bus to the top managers saying we aren't doing enough or even blaming some of the stuff he's done on us, when there is no way we could've done it to begin with.

I actually just got up from another 4 hours of sleep. Funny enough, I had a dream about an Asian lady that moved in across the street. Weird though since I'm not into Asian women. I prefer latinas like the one above.

And I've got a question about dubstep. Back in late 2012-early 2013, it seems like everyone and their grandma had a dubstep remix on youtube. The few I listened to all sounded the same. Would you say this is a legitimate critique of the genre, or is my critique skewed by the fact that I've never listened to professional dubstep?

I never set alarms on the weekend. I just turn on some stand-up comedy and wake up whenever I do.

Your critique of Dubstep in that time frame (and even a lot now) is spot on. When Dubstep blew up most everyone jumped on the bandwagon and instead of trying to learn the intricacies that make a good Dubstep track everyone was just using presets and the same sample packs to crank out a bunch of BS that sounded the same. Very similar to what has been happening with the EDM Big Room House sound for a long time now except that's gone so mainstream it actually can sustain all the garbage tunes (which annoys the crap out of me).

Question for Englishmen/women : is telling someone "you bastard" considered rude/insulting, is it misplaced ? I'm asking because in one of my work chat meetings my boss made a joke on the English boss and he replied "you bastard". I got that it was not meant to be insulting but in French you can do that among close friends but never at work.

Not sure about in England but here in the states you wouldn't call anyone a bastard, joke or not, without most likely being on your way to the unemployment line.

In other news, I just unzipped about 10 GB of twerk. Gonna have a new mix in the future. Depends on how fast I can get all this new stuff analyzed.

I know that in The States it is not mild banter to call someone that way, as it is also the case in France but maybe in English the meaning isn't that rude.
Edit : in French they are many words with several degree of rudeness but in US/UK all these words are translated to a single one ( in this case "bastard" ).
