Well typically MM has been a schemer and one to employ robots(Dreadnaughts) and other killer technology against Iron Man. She doesn't fight him womano-a-mano because she'd lose against his armor. Outside of his armor however things are much more even as she's quite a capable hand to hand combatant. Probably better than he is, truth be told.

I wonder if there's a way of having count nefaria in the next iron man movie without it being silly.

I don't mean making him the main villain or turning madame masque into a goon or anything I just mean in terms of showing her development

I really like this character, and find her important to the story of Tony Stark.
Did she make an appearance in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D? Her first appearance was Jasper Sitwell in love with this Maggia head and daughter of Count Nefaria.
