The score in the film is just right... I mean i miss the electric guitars but damn Tyler did a wonderful job. And when the theme kicks you feel awe.

Ok just listened to the whole score, and that main theme is just wonderful. I really do think it's the best work in a marvel film since Elfman's Spider-man and Ottman's X2.

What about Powell's work on X-3? That film totally didn't deserve that great score.

I don't know...I've only seen that film once, I've never really paid any attention to it. I'll give it a go.

I wonder if Ottman will bring back his X-men theme for Days of Future Past.

Brian Tyler is generally good at themes but Iron Man 3's seems to be missing something. I give it a fail.

Driving with the Top Down is the definitive Iron Man theme, followed by Mark II.

Completely agree, Driving with the top down set the bar really high, and Bryan Tyler throughout this score he tries some little riffs, but the main theme is so heroically ridiculous that it's boring, and the hyper fun version of the main theme at the end credits was just plain dreadful.

    Read this -

It's very simple....half the world has not seen Iron Man 3...if you do not put spoilers about important things in the movie in spoiler tags...you will be infracted and put on probation. Do not ruin the movie for others.

I just block anyone who posts junk/spam/mean-spirited spoilers on the IM and any other Marvel movie property pages because I know if they did it once, they'll do it again.

Just watched the film a few hours ago. The end credits theme is still in my head.
It goes well with Kyle Cooper's Spider-Man 2 inspired titles

I like the theme, it's got a nice feel that lifts off from The Avengers. Giving Iron Man less of a rock heavy metal theme to more of a orchestra feel. The theme from Iron Man 1 will always be memorable though.

Eh, the score from the first one always sounded like car commercial music to me. Cool it hollow. I much prefer Tyler's work on this film.

Loved the music. Agree it was the best of the three in that regard.
