sorry if i hurt your confidence. but that's in the eyes of the one getting critiqued. i'm an art major and use to far harsher critiques. You have to channel the stern or most blatant critiques as ways to get better. try working on a hard project for 3 weeks straight, and then the teacher not getting it at all and ripping it apart. It's hard not viewing your art at times as sooo personal you can't handle anything negative said about it. but it's definately something you have to learn fast.

And most of the time, those certain teachers have a select herd of "artists" at their side that they constantly give A's to, no matter how numbingly pretentious that work is, or ridiculously simple, compaired to the hard work, sweat, and heart you put into yours.

I got a C in SCULPTURE class (note, the class was called SCULPTURE, not Pottery) because I didn't make a damn pot, and chose to sculpt a rendition of Rick Baker's werewolf in An American Werewolf In London.

I like this concept. The only thing really bothering me is that red collar thingy. It reminds me of the kind of collar you'd see on a bathrobe.

nah i see destro in that collar. but anyway i really like it! it has a retro future feel almost "RUNNING MAN". i give it 7 out of 10.

It reminds me of a martial arts gi, perhaps referring to his samurai past?

Honestly, I was never that satisfied with it. I think it looks pretty cool, but I was never able to come up with an idea that really worked for me. He started out looking very samurai but it never came together. I think the collared shirt came from some Native American dress I was looking at, and evolved out of that. I just wanted him to be somewhat grounded and not real flashy or high tech.

i like it. I would make the same color brown for the pants. but i can understand why you went with black.

nice design bunk, it really does have a different but not foreign feel, well not foriegn to the characters

ill post a movie dynamo i did, no colors,i only color copies

cyclops looks very mature to be born in 1986

some people just look oler thn they are, maybe he smoked when hewas younger, stubble i thik kinda makes you look older

well.... the movies also take place in "the not so distant future" though.... we know X1 was pre- 9/11 due to the world trade centers being in it...

Love that xmen first class logo:up: I do hope they do it like the comics with the original five and young.

yeah the 2nd one works, the first one looks too much like carnage imo... sorta if spidey went "back in red" instead of "back in black"

Agreed it's not completely different just mean, sleaker then the old SS costume.
