superman's cape didn't serve any purpose. to me the real iconic part of cap's suit was the A and the wings on the mask without the A for all we know he cold be sporting a puerto rico costume

case in point this flag looks alot more like cap than the american flag

all i'm saying is the without and A caps costume would look to much like the puerto rico flag. plus it can possibly offer protection of some kind.

i understand that the mask dosen't look very important but in the end it is as key part of the costume simply because its what we recognize as the captain america costume, and wallace i think that costume is lame . way to much black. like i hated the black superman costume

I actually liked the black Superman costume.
But I do agree that Buucky's suit looks atrocious. I kinda liked it at first but now I hate it.

I think he has to have the mask just because it's always been. You can do it better, not make it goofy I mean. Like don't have the ears sticking out etc.

Bare with me on this one, because the colours are ridiculous.

Think of the green as a dark blue, maybe certian parts, such as the forearm pads and sholder pads darker/lighter, the orange parts as the red, and the light blue as a more "cap" Blue.
It's a quick sketch over the space of 5 minutes, I just wanted to try and homage the original cap costume, hence the original colours on the costume, but not saturated on it.

Oh, I was trying to make the sheild be attached to the forarm, it'd make sence so he'd have full use of his hand.
Sorry, but my bag was stolen the other day and had a few of my pens in it, lukily I was saying an hour beforehand that I needed to invest in a new set.

This is a personal design of Spider-Man that Ive made for my own personal Spider-Man universe. (With heavy influence from Alex Ross, of course).

In my universe, Peter is a senior in High School, and hes not as goofy as the main-stream Peter Parker. Hes just as quiet and timid, but hes a little more serious in personality. He doesnt take as much crap as the main stream Peter, standing up for himself whenever he feels that he needs to. He even punched Flash Thompson in the face after Flash continued to pick on him. (He pulled his punch of course, he didnt want to break his jaw or anything).

And unlike the main-stream Peter, this Peter Parker is a total chick magnet, and he's completely oblivious to this fact. He doesnt even know that girls are attracted to him, as he always has his face buried in a book or in work.

His costume reflects his personality when in comes to being a superhero. He still has that wise-ass attitude as the main-stream Spider-Man, but he takes a more serious approach to crime-fighting. He always prefers to get the job done quickly and efficiently so less people get hurt, doesnt choose to prolong the battle with smart-ass remarks.

As for his powers, he has the same powers as the main-stream Spider-Man, except he has organic web shooters in his wrists, and does NOT have those stinger things. He also has a slightly increased sense of smell and hearing (just a little bit more advanced than a humans, no where near the level of wolverine or anything like that), and he has accelerated healing, which means he just heals a little faster than normal.

Well, theres my Spider-Man, for all to enjoy.

OMG READ THE DESCRIPTION!

I was conversing with my buddy *Lewis-Paul, and as he was looking at my "Teen Titans Revamped" series, he asked if I was going to do the same for my favorite MARVEL characters, and I thought "Hey, why not?"

Since I already unknowingly started revamping my favorite characters, starting with Spider-Man: [link] , I decided to take it one step further and start doing the good ol' AVENGERS.

This is the first in the series, Captain America.

Now Captain America is defenitely a Marvel Classic, as well as a Legend in himself, so I couldnt in good conscience alter is outfit TOO much.

Since I liked his look already, I just decided to take elements from the mainstream Captain America, and splice his costume with that of ULTIMATE Captain America, and voi la! I got his costume.

Anyway, Im redesigning all their costumes because Ive created my own little Universe for them, and they'll all be "guess-starring", so to speak, in each others lives (lol). Ill be doing the main players in the Avengers, as well as some of the X-Men. The Fantastic Four, maybe not so much.

ok i designed this cap. its my update of his classic uniform. instead of wings he has little sat. nav receiver things . metal face plate little gold eagle belt buckle . his sheild does a thor lighting thing if he wants when he throws it.

i didn't show his eyes because he has a h.u.d. on the inside of his helmet i used that because the army is actually doing that

giving soldiers real time battleground info so i just worked it into his mask
