The MARVEL characters REDESIGN thread

Maybe that is something that could be part of her character while at the Hellfire Club perhaps.
She isn't 100% about everything there. She loves doing whatever she wants and benefiting, but maybe she isn't totally OK with what the Hellfire Club has started to become. But she still goes along with it up to a certain point.
And that's why she leaves, and later on she befriends Xavier, and then much later on joins the Xavier School.

As for the puffy Victorian sleeves, I like it. I thought the Hellfire Club should have a strong Victorian Theme.

i do a corest with a shrug and some sort of low riding pant that has a spilt in the thighs. but i have no fashion sense. the most fashionable thing i own is my abbyshot silent bob trench coat

Well c'mon dude. she wants to fit in with her weirdo Victorian roll play friends. peer pressure is some pretty powerful stuff.

haha Emma is the one that does the pressing, she's the queen bee of popular *****y highschool girl :-P. She sets the trends, not follows em.

Probably not if she was asked to join a very powerful secret society that had already existed for such a long time and already had a dress code.

she's the queen bee of popular *****y highschool girl :-P.
That is very true, even though I am not a huge fan or know that much about her, I always thought that.
She is, and that is why she is moving up in the ranks so quickly too. Maybe she is biding her time like Mr. Burns in the Stonecutters, but she still tries to influence the club. She wouldn't just sit around and do what they tell her. But she would wear the dress code to a point I think and go along with the club, again, to a certain point. The dresscode is sort of part of biding her time I think.

Because I don't know how many more of these I will be able to do for the time being, and because I want to show him since I got him and don't know how many other characters come before him
Here is En Sabah Nur the Apocalypse:
(Or what I have thus far)

Apocalypse2.png

He is a very tall, muscular man (perhaps done with an actor and a green screen to make him look bigger than everyone, or perhaps he is just a big actor compared to everyone.)
He has a tattoo on his face (and I'd like to spread that tattoo to the rest of his body in some way.) He wears Egyptian clothing from the past, but I could see him updating his wardrobe too. Perhaps even dressing more like a king or something.
In that episode Mr. Sinister returns to his major threat status. He isn't the main bad guy though, his boss (who was always hinted at) finally shows up.
Apocalypse works mostly behind the scenes keeping himself mysterious. But then he becomes a major player.

He could have the same motivations as he has in the comics, but in the show you can see how he is greatly effected by his past. He is a man driven mad by past and his powers.

Again, if aliens don't exist in this TV Show then they wont be introduced here. So Apocalypse has nothing to do with aliens or an alien space ship that he turns into armor or anything like that. He is perhaps the FIRST mutant, his powers were to manipulate his own molecules.
His powers over time, especially during his hibernation he was able to grow, manipulate, and control, his powers more. But because his powers were so great to begin with he had to hibernate to stay alive. He is also a very powerful psychic, and whatever powers Xavier and Jean have. He can also manipulate the molecules of others, homosapien and homosuperior alike. He gave Essex his powers and the power to manipulate other's powers. He also manipulates the powers and emotions of other mutants to create his four other mutant to creat his Four Horsemen.

One of the problems I have with Apocalypse is that he is just too powerful and too inhuman. While that may work for the comics it wouldn't really work for the TV show. So to make him work, I think he would need to be more human. I also don't want to make him the final battle or so powerful that they have to stop him now or never and defeating him unites everyone. He may be a bigger threat than a lot of their enemies but he isn't the series finale. I would hope the show would continue after he is stopped. (It could even be presented like Lex Luther, he is not defeated just stopped for the time being or he stops himself.)

Something I wanted to make and post way back during Season One:
Angel-AvengingAngel2.gif
AngelA2B.png

Warren Worthington III as his vigilante persona:
The Avenging Angel
In my idea for the X-Men series Warren does start out trying to be a hero, but instead of donning a costume he wears Riot Gear.As a weapon he carries a baton and uses a shield. He has added a halo symbol on his helmet and shield and bullet proof vest, and maybe even his belt. But the symbol is part of it, he wants people t start talking about the flying hero, the Avenging Angel.
Once he joins Xavier's school he puts that behind him, but it would be cool to always see it in his closet or see his helmet on his desk.

This is wear I got the idea for his Avenging Angel costume:
I got the idea from the Squadron Supreme's Blue Eagle, who at one point wears riot looking armor.

From there I referenced real Riot Gear.

Artistsean while I have to admit that apocalypse rocks I must now BAN you from doing anymore little guys:eek: That's right you are much to good an artist to consume all your time with them you must draw...draw I say! :D

I do draw, these take up only a little bit of my time. But thank you for your concern. Believe me, I do draw.
I am working on my own comic right now.

I actually do think that was my last mini hero thing anyway.

apoc looks pretty decent, however im not a fan of the swat gear angel though.... i see where your coming from, but.... he looks more like a police officer with wings than a vigilante hero.... I don't think it should look as much like swat gear as your pushing it.

Very Cool Apocalypse, reminds me of X-men Evolution
Thanks, it wasn't really intentional. There is this cover (Dracular V. Apocalypse) were he is holding up Dracula's head, and He looked more human. I also liked what Evolution did too. I think he should look more human anyway, but for the show it would be a must in order to make it possible I think.

I understand what your saying. I think he needs to look like a vigilante too.
But my line of thinking was Warren Worthington III is rich. He is very rich. He is so rich that if he wanted to become a vigilante I think he would spare no expense at buying gear to keep himself safe. All he has is the shield, the baton, the helmet, and the vest. The belt doesn't really matter.
But I was recently at a uniform store that offered gun holsters, helmets, vests, and stuff just like this.

I was just thinking if Warren wanted to be a vigilante (a hero actually) he would protect himself and he could afford the best. Plus its only one helmet, one shield, and so on. He isn't like Batman were he has tons of this stuff, plus a cave and everything else. Warren is pretty low grade I thought.
But it would only be shown for one episode and for a very short time. One, two scenes at the most. I just wanted to use the Avenging Angel idea from the comics without using a costume.
But how would you change it? What would you loose to make him less official looking?

1) that outfit is way too bulky, angel has hollow bones, which help him fly... all that bulk would hender that. It also wouldnt be police blue and seriously a billy club too? like i said all of that together just looks like an angel with riot gear, nothing vigilante about it...

2) angel is loaded... and he'd wear an outfit to ENHANCE. Not hinder. He'd wear a lightweight yet still protective wear... hell i mean the guys a billionare, it could be skin tight and flexible even. Personally give him something more like caps chain mail scales.

3) You also have to remember angel is a pretty boy, he likes clothes that make him look attractive. I get that your going for an avenging angel look, but what exactly is he going to use a shield for? it's very awkward for me to see a shield with no weapon. Maybe since he's rich, and prep school boys no how to fence, he'd have a fencing sword? (just a random idea), and at least that helps enforce the shield... either that or just drop the shield. Personally i hate the design of angel you referenced, his helmet looks horrid... And it's probably why he's never really depicted in his rogue days wearing hat design.
Personally i think this is much more angels style. http://jjinbeat.com/Cap/StarSpangledSite/Angel-AvengingAngel.jpg

Chain mail would be much heavier IMO.

I get the sleeker comment something like what batman wheres inTDK

i meant chain mail in looks, not weight. Warren is a billionaire, he could easily have a light weight yet very durable protective armor made.

a Bullet Proof vest is much more realistic and practical than chain mail, as cool as I think that would look.
In response to him carrying a shield and baton, check out Blue Eagle in Squadron Supreme and see how he uses them. He wouldn't want to use anything necessarily lethal. Just subdue criminals.
And perhaps Warren had a special light weight bullet proof vest made since he is rich. But really he didn't, it is just a regular bullet proof vest to protect his torso from bullets. In my idea for the show his vigilante thing was short lived and quickly put together. He didn't do much more than buy the gear and try to be a hero. And like Children of the Atom, things don't go so smoothly for him. His heart was in the right place though.
And Xavier comes along and offers him a better way to change the world.

And I understand what your saying, but the Avenging Angel you posted is a spandex costume that wouldn't work for a live action TV show. In my opinion.

But thanks for the responses and the critiques.

I think your problem ,in what you don't see is your trying to "over-ground" it in reality. I'm not saying give him spandex, but spidey and fantastic four costumes have proven spandex can work, with texture. But even smallville which grounds itself in reality, still knows that it's a comic book show and is able to still give certain characters comic book clothes not grounded 100% in reality. I just find angel flying around in riot gear quite hilarious... doesn't scream angel to me at all. Angel would never just "grab stuff and put it together" thats not him.

Time to jumpstart this board let's see some spidey redesigns! Here is a Black suit design I love (minus the gloves) that screams classic bagley from the hitmanhorton on DA:
