That's because Steve Trevor crash-landed on Themyscira and gave the Amazons an odd appreciation for the USA's flag and oh my God, Wonder Woman totally needs a new costume so bad.

I thought they handled this really well in the Wonder Woman animated dvd.

I kinda wish Marvel could do a Ultimate version of the big heads of the DC line up. Or I used to think I wanted that till Ultimates 3 signaled the fall of the Ultimate line.

I really rather enjoyed it. but I haven't exactly followed Wonder Woman comics at any point. So I don't know if they went ahead and screwed things up, or just updated.

her style is def more greek, but her colors are not at all...

i loved that redesign but everybody has their own opinion. i mean some people cried at the idea of Obama as president during the campaign. some people hate Wes Anderson films i love them. tomato to-mah-to

Redesigned Lady Sif's costume to something I thought would work with the more practical designs Coipel's using in the current series:

Very cool corp The bands across the middle remind me of some keira knightly movie where she had something like that. The headband looks a little too big or prominent to me though.

It was bothering me so I went and found it. She was in king arthur but I seem to remember more bands but in the pics it looks like just two.

Yeah, I worked at the video store when that movie came out, and there was an article in one of the vendor mags saying that she had a digital boob job for the movie cover in England.

That style isn't Greek, it's Nordic.

To be honest, it's not really either. Not in a classical sense anyway.
Hell in a lot of ways if you dropped the colors and had it all leather,
(and dropped the huge axe and shield) it would be a lot more native american than anything else.

The belt-loincloth, the chestpiece that would essentially be leather stitched together at the seams with rawhide, hell even the braid in her hair.

Not quite what I was thinking but yeah. I've been wanting to get into Supreme Power for some time now.

As great as piggybacking someone's "Wrong Thread" call is, if you actually looked a page back, you clearly see how the conversation got there.
