Those clues would lead me to believe it was northstar, but 2/8 isn't pretty good

D'oh! That's definitely gotta be it. Why didn't I think of it before? Sheesh. And the second one works too, becuase the Shi'ar saved Xavier when he "died" on Earth. Don't know what the Joe clue pertains to though.
