for me i hope pretty soon we really do have the whole mess cleared up and we see she isnt mj but either a new or a different character changed. On that if she isnt zendaya and i doubt zendaya be mj and if mj is in the film. What shade of red does everyone want mj hair to be. For me all the films so far havent gotten shade right that i woul want.
Also on mj kick would folks want to see them skip out on mj for first film with a few nods/allude to mj ala like classic 616 did back in the day and we only see her at the end or not to sequel. And this first film we just have a different crush that is maybe only one way and romance doesnt drive up the film. As kevin has said he doesnt want romance to drive the whole film. And i could see them if mj/gwen isnt in first film or even if they are peter isnt after either yet crushing on say betty if she is slightly older or for liz/sally but they dont give him the time of day and whatonot.
Now as for actual casting of mj, i doubt they would end up going with just disney folks with not much cred and what not. They would likely want someone with a bigger name and fan base ala your fanning/moretz type actors who i personally think would be the type of actors they going for mj/gwen. Now i am not saying i want either as mj/gwen at the mement and we know chloe isnt really a option as she has other projects going on when filming starts. But i see mj going to a bigger name like them then your bella thorne/zendaya types who i feel would end up more as a liz/sally type role or what not.
As for that williams rumor i hope that is true. I rather see her go to xmen. I have no issues with her acting she is a decent actress from the few episodes i seen her in over on doctor who. Buther looks and type of acting she is i do not see or feel she would be right for a role like mj. Liz, sally, debra yes would be a better fit. But def not mj. There is a look and spunk i want for mj we havent see done right yet and i cant see williams doing mj right at all.
